I think I summed it up well in another forum-My solution is it's not worth it to punish the responsible gun owners for the crazies who kill people in homicide. I could see it if hundreds of thousands of people were being murdered by guns each year. If 50% of all guns bought were used in crimes, I could see it as well. But the 10,000 people who are murdered by guns, and the .05 percent of guns that are used in deaths, isn't enough IMO. It is tragic, but you can't just jump out and say "Guns=Bad, all should be gone". You have to look at the whole picture. Freemen own guns, slaves don't. People have a right to defend themselves and their loved ones. Being free comes with cost people. You can't expect it to be perfect. I personally feel guns are just like alcohol. If used responsibly, it's great. If not, it could result in deaths.By the way Combs, what's up with Pistons.com?
