Racists have also been attacking Aurora, Colorado as supposedly terrorized by Venezuelan gangs. A 911 call was made reporting that Venezuelan gangsters were in a park with guns, firing shots and starting fires. When police arrived they found a group of Puerto Rican men, American citizens, holding a car club meeting. No one was armed and no fires.

But right wing web sites are full of Venezuelan gangs terror in Aurora Park

Wall Street Journal actually sent a reporter to Springfield to investigate a cat that was missing. Did Haitians eat the cat? Cat was found safe and sound in her himan's basement.

Republicans hope to stir up enough fear and hate to get them elected so they can do absolutely nothing to help white working people.

Trump going to Springfield to lean on public officials about a bunch of legal Haitian immigrants that were "dropped" there to fill jobs sometime in the next two weeks should be interesting.

But that's just Trump wasting another day and more opportunities to actually dent Harris' momentum.

Republican Mayor asked Trump to stay away.

Professional racist Christopher Ruffo, who began crusade to turn critical race theory from law school course to generic don't teach anything that makes white people uncomfortable, has proof Haitians are eating cats. In a different Ohio city there are immigrants from Congo. He discovered cats strolling along the sidewalk and a Black man said to be from Congo barbecuing unidentified meat and concluded man was barbecuing cat and that proved Haitians are barbecuing cats even though the two countries aren't even on the same continent. But both are Black immigrants.

Anybody ask the Haitians how they feel about the Floridians invading their Ohio neighborhood?

Vance said Harris should be ashamed of herself by saying rumors debunked when they turned out to be true.

His evidence is he said so.

The smoking gun, or smoking cat, Vance referenced was the cat whose human called 911 when cat didn't come home because she feared Haitians. This prompted Wall Street Journal to send reporter. When she found cat in her basement she at least had grace to apologize.

Having lived with cats my whole life it never occurred to me to call police, let alone 911, if cat doesn't come home. Most likely cat is roaming and will come home when ready. Sadly, sometimes bad things happen, usually cars, sometimes a larger predator. Not police business.

Ohio Governor DeWine wrote op ed in New York Times. He and his wife grew up near Springfield and used to go there on dates. He said town is nothing like it is being described. Praised the hard working law abiding Haitian immigrants who revitalized the town.

Then said he is supporting Trump/Pence.

All those fine words. He didn't mean them. Because he wants to elect the very racists who spread the lies and hate to serve partisan ends.

Had he said he was withdrawing endorsement, even if he said he would not vote, I would have some respect for him. Lies and hate might be bad but greater evil for him is Trump losing election.

Rep. Clay Higgins Posts, Then Deletes, Racist Comments About Haitians
False claims about migrants in Springfield, Ohio, who are legal residents, became a campaign issue after Donald J. Trump brought them up at the presidential debate this month.

Representative Clay Higgins, Republican of Louisiana, advanced racist claims about Haitians in a post on social media that was subsequently deleted on Wednesday.

Mr. Higgins’s post on X was a response to an Associated Press article about a court filing by the leader of the Haitian Bridge Alliance, a nonprofit group. The group invoked a citizen’s right to file charges against former President Donald J. Trump and Senator JD Vance of Ohio, his running mate, for knowingly making false claims about Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio, that caused panic, the filing said.

Mr. Higgins repeated some of those claims in his post on X.

“These Haitians are wild. Eating pets, vudu, nastiest country in the western hemisphere, cults, slapstick gangsters,” he wrote.

“But damned if they don’t feel all sophisticated now, filing charges against our President and VP. All these thugs better get their mind right and their ass out of our country before January 20th,” Mr. Higgins continued, referring to the date of the presidential inauguration.

Mr. Trump has pledged, if elected, to “get them the hell out,” referring to migrants in Springfield, most of whom are in the United States legally and have filled jobs in local industry.

Mr. Higgins’s post appears to have been deleted after he faced backlash. Democrats seized on his post. Representative Hakeem Jeffries of New York, the House minority leader, said in a statement that Mr. Higgins “must be held accountable for dishonorable conduct that is unbecoming of a member of Congress.”

Representative Steven Horsford, Democrat of Nevada and the chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, said he would make a motion to censure Mr. Higgins for bringing “disgrace” to Congress.

A reporter asked the House speaker, Mike Johnson, Republican of Louisiana, about Mr. Higgins’s post in a news conference on Wednesday. Mr. Johnson said the congressman had “prayed about it, and he regretted it, and he pulled the post down.”

A spokeswoman for Mr. Higgins did not immediately respond to a request for comment. But Mr. Higgins told CNN later on Wednesday that he stood by his post.

Clay Higgins is also a Three Percenter, which is a far right anti government militia group.

Yet, somehow was elected into a government position in Louisiana

A Springfield businessman and lifelong Republican who voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020 praised his Haitian employees. He has received death threats, as have his children and 80 year old mother. Posters have gone up around town calling him a traitor. On advice from law enforcement, he bought a gun for the first time in his life.

Trump is calling for violent programs against immigrants. In so many words.
