Today's a special day. On May 31st, 28 years ago, I bought the Portland Trail Blazers. Thank you for all your support #RipCity! — with Portland Trail Blazers.

One of the best owners and true basketball fans in sports, IMHO. I hope he gets to celebrate an NBA title as Blazers' owner soon.

Paul, I've been your biggest backer over the years. If you want me to take out Canzano, just give me the word and I'll tell my friend Luigi. On the house. I'll pay Luigi. Also, if you need $3 million to get a draft pick, just ask. If you need $15 million for Meyers Leonard, you're on your own.

Thank You for buying the Blazers and keeping them in Portland, Paul. I can't think of another owner who would have given the local attitude towards pro sports franchises here.

I could list links here to the causes he funds, but it would be too much work. Suffice it to say, I am a space fan and see his name pop up all the time in space news. He is not your average billionaire, accumulating money for the sake of self-aggrandizement. He spends down his fortune over the years to fund causes. When PapaG referred to the book "The Accidental Billionaire" about Paul Allen's dimninishing fortune, I would answer that that's a good thing, not a bad thing.

Thank you and happy anniversary!
Ah yes, all the men I know, look at photos and say "that was when I had hair". Except my brother; the men in my family never gain weight or lose hair.
