Rumor Harvey Weinstein

I mean, sometime, anymore...I don't even...

Donna Karan said:
"I know his wife, I think they're wonderful people, Harvey has done some amazing things."
She was attending the CineFashion Film Awards in Los Angeles when a red carpet reporter asked her view of the allegations against the former Miramax boss.

"I think we have to look at ourselves," she said.

"Obviously, the treatment of women all over the world is something that has always had to be identified. Certainly in the country of Haiti where I work, in Africa, in the developing world, it's been a hard time for women. To see it here in our own country is very difficult, but I also think how do we display ourselves? How do we present ourselves as women?
What are we asking? Are we asking for it by presenting all the sensuality and all the sexuality? You look at everything all over the world today and how women are dressing and what they are asking by just presenting themselves the way they do. What are they asking for? Trouble," Karan said.

Then again, she also knows the Clintons:

The designer, who depicted the first female president in her 1992 “In Women We Trust” ads, has been a longtime supporter of both Bill and Hillary Clinton. She was also involved with the Clinton Foundation’s Global Initiative program for 10 years.
“We’re living in a world problem and we need world leaders,” she told WWD. “Nobody is perfect, we all have our things, but I don’t know anybody who has brought the power of people together as Bill Clinton did.” She continued:
It it wasn’t for President Clinton, I would not be the person I am. I’ll never forget when I was in the White House for the first time, I said to Hillary, ‘We’ve got to do something about health care; where is the care in health care?’”
Karan hoped the then-first lady would be able to address some of these issues this time around. That’s why she was disappointed — and surprised — when Trump defeated Clinton in November.
“I’m appalled. I really am. I’m very sad about it. The one thing is, I do think we have to be aligned and feel a camaraderie. Never in my lifetime have I seen anything like this. We’re in a period of chaos. The world is in chaos on every single level.”

Since then, I guess she's realized what it was she said:
About 12 hours later said:
Last night, I was honored at the Cinemoi Fashion Film Awards in Hollywood and while answering a question on the red carpet I made a statement that unfortunately is not representative of how I feel or what I believe.

I have spent my life championing women. My life has been dedicated to dressing and addressing the needs of women, empowering them and promoting equal rights.
My statements were taken out of context and do not represent how I feel about the current situation concerning Harvey Weinstein.
I believe that sexual harassment is NOT acceptable and this is an issue that MUST be addressed once and for all regardless of the individual.
I am truly sorry to anyone that I offended and everyone that has ever been a victim.

The newest accuser is Anthony Bourdain's girlfriend, Asia Argento.

I guess he ate her out against her consent...then proceeded to have sex with him consensually for the next 5 years as he paid for her stuff and she protected her career.

Reluctantly, Argento said that she agreed to give the producer a massage. After, she said he allegedly pulled her skirt up, and forced her legs apart before performing oral sex on her while she asked him, repeatedly, to stop. Argento said she was “terrified” of Weinstein, adding, “It wouldn’t stop. It was a nightmare.”

“I was not willing,” she said. “I said, ‘No, no, no.’ . . . It’s twisted. A big fat man wanting to eat you. It’s a scary fairy tale.” After, Argento said she told Weinstein, “I am not a whore” — at which, she claimed, he laughed.

Her silence was out of fear and self-loathing, said Argento. “The thing with being a victim is I felt responsible. Because if I were a strong woman, I would have kicked him in the balls and run away. But I didn’t. And so I felt responsible.”

And Weinstein stayed in touch — they even became friends, with the mogul introducing Argento to his mother. “He made it sound like he was my friend and he really appreciated me,” she shared, admitting to later consensual sexual relations with the producer in the five years that followed the incident. At one point, she also revealed, Weinstein helped her pay for a nanny while she was a single mother.

As least once though — around the release of B. Monkey — Argento claimed the interaction happened because she felt she “had to,” saying that she believed Weinstein would ruin her career if she didn’t agree to his advances.

This could snowball into more people, particularly the pedophile abuse in the industry. They may attempt to cover it up still though.

Yeah, I don't think you'll see anyone here defending this pig. Not sure why people are trying to politicize a sleazy member of Hollywood doing sleazy things. I'm beyond certain every politician is taking money from sleazy ass people. This reeks of desperation and deflection from the right.

No, sorry - your president is not absolved from being a sexual predator because this fat hollywood guy is a scumbag. So dumb...

Trump isn't a sexual predator.

Oh, I guess you were talking about B.J. Clinton.

And it does matter, the collusion to hide the sexual allegations by the liberal left.

They were very well known, while at the same time these liberal hollywood fucks were on their soap boxes harping on Trump's Locker room talk.

Weinstein, Weinstein, Weinstein!!!

The funny thing is that with Weinstein, the list of people who stayed silent are A-list Hollywood people. They go on and on and rant about misogyny and toxic masculinity, but they all sucked dick to get ahead and further their careers.

hollywood liberals right now:

Nope. Trump is not a sexual predator. Nothing to suggest he is, other than some leaked audio which is nothing and some flimsy accusations which fell apart.
Just say what you really feel dude. You simply don't care that he is a sexual predator. That would be way easier to digest than these desperate attempts at defending the guy

Yikes. All politics aside, this guy is really something awful. His accuser list is going to be infinite. Gross
