Both statements, by the SS and state cops, are bullshit.

The SS has jurisdiction out as far as they need to create a safe zone.

Due to the SSs limited manpower resources. Some layers of the perimeter are always given to state and locals to keep safe. Such as the building the shots came from. The locals should of had several men, at least, on that roof.

My guess. There was a major communication error made by someone. Now everyone is pointing fingers at the other guy.

Also, "some" of the SS agents protecting Trump were clearly rookies. After the shots were fired, they were not professional enough to be in that position and handle the situation. Several were professional.

For one, the last rally he was talking about, Trump may have still be president and had better SS detail. 2nd, it's an airport, a large closed of location. They were all on roofs within the perimeter.
