And the damage control starts... his agent has been a complete dumbass. Now Nic's realizing that his agent played Minnesota like a fiddle but now he's going to come back to Portland and they're going to expect him to play like a $11 million player. With all the stupid things his agent has said I think fans are a little irked (I know I am). Nic better produce or he'll get the Rudy treatment after he came out publicly saying he wanted to go back to Spain.

I have no doubt Nic wants to play in Minnesota but he and his agent knew he was likely to come back to Portland. It was a huge mistake to handle themselves this way. They've got some fans (in Minnesota at least) convinced he'll be disgruntled and unprofessional... is that the impression the agent wants to leave? He's acting like Dwight Howard but doesn't have the same cred... and it looks like teams are getting fed up with Howard's antics as well. The only thing he should've said about Nic's heart is that he will leave it on the court for any team he plays for.
 
I can tell you that Minny did NOT........ did NOT offer Williams AND 3 # 1s for Nic. NEVER happened!

Funny you should post this....... today was my first day off in weeks and I woke up to a mounds of bark dust and gravel. The wife had me doing hard labor all day. I'm a tired motherfucker right now.
 
So do you guys think Batum will show up for his physical? Why do you think this whole 'physical' thing was leaked? Just curious.

It wasn't leaked, its common practice to have a player (even a RFA) who gets a new contract pass a physical first.
 
Also all this TWolves talk of Nico being unhappy, i'll point to a player who hasn't been happy were he has played in 5 years and was PISSED his team matched Memphis contract, but he hasn't really been a Diva and played hard for his team, Josh Smith.
 
It's a twofer. He needs to pass physical before the team shells out a butt load of money on him. But making him fly back from France is just a happy circumstance, given how he's let his agent be a moron.

Anyone know if he will miss any games for the French team?
