"On May 28, 2009, Palmer was hired as coordinator of women's basketball officials for the West Coast Conference.[5"

as far as i know, yes.

SAN BRUNO, Calif. (AP) -Referee Violet Palmer was hired as coordinator of women's basketball officials for the West Coast Conference and will remain with the NBA, where she has worked for 12 seasons.

Hey but look at the bright side everyone, at least they put a "no-tipping" rule in the new CBA for the ref's now.....

Somehow, someway, Donaghy's book is going get out and cause waves........it just keeps sounding more and more legit.

So what was the bet the refs made to each other last night?

Damn these Portland fans are so annoying with their yelling and their cheering. It hurts my ears. Hey, I know, lets see how many fouls will it take to get them to sit down and stfu?

After a day spent reading very believable Donaghy quotes, that was not exactly the type of officiating I wanted to see. The whole thing seemed, well, contrived and artificial. Late whistles, obvious make-up calls, and far too much "management" of the action.

The over/under on that game was 200. The free throw parade in the last 7 minutes of that game got it really, really close to the over. I hate that I have to think something like that about this sport.
I think this is a very strong possibility. The game seemed managed, not one side or the other being favored but rather something about the score being shaped. The 4th quarter was freaking insane. I wish I knew more about betting. Or maybe I wish I knew less. Ignorance being bliss and all.
