I'm saying that I was part of 3 abortions. In each case, I would have taken on the responsibility of raising any one of them.

You don't use birth control?

These evil women tricked you just so they could abort your children?

I mean I can see once, then you learn and use birth control but 3 times?!?

It's actually quite common for people to take advantage of legal abortion when they, their daughter, girlfriend, mistress etc. needs it while trying to outlaw it for others. Some people who stand outside clinics screaming at patients and staff come in for their abortion and next day are outside screaming.

I did a lot worse in my BC years. The best thing about your past is, it's your past.

Yeah... GA is Blue now...

Raphael Warnock is gonna wipe the floor with that self hater with slave mentality...

I guarantee you that Black people in GA don't vote for him too. Imagine...

I made my position clear.
You have persistently refused to answer questions so stop baiting me.

In regard to my Sat evening post, a body with no brain. Would you force woman to carry to term and spend rest of her life caring for someone with zero brain function?

@ABM would vote for someone who would force a 14 year old girl to have her uncle's baby...

That's what "Pro-Life" means in this country.

It's a fucking handmaiden's tale...

Rush Limbaugh had 4 wives with no kids...

So you support the controlling of women's bodies because of bad choices you made in the past?

I support the rights of an unborn child regardless. The Bible is clear that we are known by God in our mother's womb.

Jewish law is a human life begins when a baby is born and draws breath. In a conflict between health and n of pregnant woman and fetus, woman's needs take precedence. And no one should be forced to give birth against her will.

Do you oppose religious freedom as well as women's rights?

Do you oppose religious freedom along with women's rights? Why should I be forced to live by your interpretation of what your god wants?

That rights of the unborn shit is BULLSHIT... No, you want to control women. And really, if your not a woman, you can just STFU. Your fake stance for the unborn is shameful...

You don't give a fuck about the rights of the born...

After a baby is born they better hit the ground running with these conservatives. Y'all are full of shit.

MFs can't be:

Pro Gun, Anti Healthcare for all, Anti Birth control, Pro Capital punishment, and Pro War whilst simultaneously being "Pro-Life".

Tell the truth. Y'all are Pro-Birth and Anti-Abortion.

The term Pro-Life is just another appropriation from the Anti-Capital punishment movement.

Y'all stole that too...

I have my own Christian beliefs, based on how I interpret the Bible. This transcends anything related to politics. I could just as well have zero political stance, yet stand firm in my Christian beliefs. And I have every right to those.

The King James version of the Bible?

A few things to give a complete picture:

I was raised Southern Baptist Christian. I went to church at least 3x per week. Sunday school every Sunday, Morning service, if there was a musical
we'd be at church all day Sunday. My grandmother was the Usher Board Chair. Tuesday nights was Usher board rehearsal.
Thursday evening was Jr. Praise and worship team (Choir). Vacation Bible school EVERY Summer.
It was me and 5-6 kids in front of a congregation of about 300-400 doing "Bible drills". (pastor says a scripture, the 1st to find it stands and reads)
I won those regularly. I've read the King James version of the bible, cover to cover, I grew up and the fact that I know exactly what's in that book is the reason I'm agnostic.

Don't make me quote your book as I'm 100% sure I know more about what's in it than you.

When it comes to abortion... You don't know WTF God wants. I can show you scripture where God doesn't give a flying fuck about unborn children.

I actually use the New Living Translation Bible.

That version of the bible has been perverted from the KJV. Changed but still fucked up.

The Bible places no value on fetuses or infants less than one month old.

Leviticus 27:6 NLT
6 A boy between the ages of one month and five years is valued at five shekels of silver; a girl of that age is valued at three shekels of silver.

God sometimes approves of killing fetuses.

Numbers 31:15-17
15 “Why have you let all the women live?” he demanded. 16 “These are the very ones who followed Balaam’s advice and caused the people of Israel to rebel against the Lord at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to strike the Lord’s people. 17 So kill all the boys and all the women who have had intercourse with a man.
(Some of the non-virgin women must have been pregnant. They would have been killed along with their unborn fetuses.)

Hosea 9:16
16 The people of Israel are struck down. Their roots are dried up, and they will bear no more fruit.
And if they give birth, I will slaughter their beloved children.”

16 The people of Samaria must bear the consequences of their guilt because they rebelled against their God.
They will be killed by an invading army, their little ones dashed to death against the ground, their pregnant women ripped open by swords.

God's law sometimes requires the execution (by burning to death) of pregnant women.

24 About three months later, Judah was told, “Tamar, your daughter-in-law, has acted like a prostitute. And now, because of this, she’s pregnant. Bring her out, and let her be burned!” Judah demanded.

I get that, but why do those beliefs have to be pushed on everyone else

Sure. But you are trying to impose your beliefs on every woman in America. I couldn't care less what you personally believe. I care what laws you are shoving down my uterus.

I was also raised Southern Baptist Christian ( and Judiasm as my mother was adopted by a Jewish family).

I don't know if I'm agnostic. I believe there is a God. I believe in the be good to your fellow man stuff and the commandments (not killing and stealing and stuff).

The Bible is a book written by men, not God. It's mostly parables about good morals. But, there is alot of stuff in there I don't agree with too. Some messed up stuff.

Bottom line when it comes to the separation of church and state:

1st Amendment
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

If I were Muslim, would I be able to force Sharia Law on you?

I don't know that there is one but I'm not of the believe that there is one. The one in the bible certainly has been perverted.

However, I think atheists should slow up... They say a god can't exist and they simply don't know that. We don't know what happens after we die.

The God of the old testament is not a nice dude/entity/deity

I look at the universe and how infinitesimal I am...I can't help but feel I am part of something far greater.

I get that. Do you feel I'm pushing my beliefs on any of you here?

No, we are talking about the conservative right made up largely of a Christian epistemology pushing their religous beliefs on the rest of the country by creating laws based on those religious beliefs

I don't feel like you are... :dunno: But I'm one who likes religious debate.

They did in Texas though. They're trying to do it all over the country.

I don't believe in pushing, per se, but if various laws are voted in? then, yeah, they are voted in. Last I checked, it takes a majority to do that. Just like gay marriage. There are many who oppose that, but it's legal, and they have those rights. Although, I've oft wondered how it's determined who's the husband, and who's the wife....and can those roles be changed at any time within that said marriage. But, I digress.
