He didn't say anything about why it would be 2014.... Not much actual evidence either. For a while I thought he was still alive because they kept "finding" new music, but eventually the music kept getting worse and worse, and it was becoming obvious that it was tracks that were never intended to be released. I don't think he's still alive. I think his mother and Death Row made it appear that there was some kind of mystery because it sold more records.

Well if you do a little research on Machiavelli he had a plot to fake your death at age 25 and return at 43. Not saying it's true but Tupac did die at the age of 25 and in 2014 Pac would be 43 years old.
