Heyward to Cubs

...lmao at the loser making incorrect statements, then being asked to back those statements up, but instead of providing proof, they simply edit out or delete what they had originally claimed.

...sorry, but that's about as pathetic as it gets.

...btw, can some please explain to me why Heyward is being compared to Beltran?

Beltran had similar maybe better offensive numbers last year as Heyward...I COULD BE WRONG but I think it's fair to presume he may again have similar or better numbers as Heyward for 8+ mil$ less and after this year, Yanks are on schedule to move into RF one of their young players. Trashman chose to go with Beltran for 3 yrs instead of Grandy for 4 yrs thus by next yr there will be a spot open in RF for a young player/prospect
(Judge, Heathcott,Williams?) inexpensive player which also creates more of that good old "flexibility". Sounds like a plan to me but I COULD BE WRONG and will be diligently waiting to be "corrected" by the voices of reason.....all 6 or 7 of them.:rolleyes2:

Lets review...........

You complain about the # of posters on this board............CHECK

QUESTION: Exactly wtf are you doing here then?

...Beltran is as good as Heyward....CHECK

...and I'm still waiting on an explanation of the relevance.

No no Rick....get it straight..I only reciprocate when the usual pile on tactics are used. And I dont mind injecting my thoughts on moves made by the Yanks/Cashman as I (obviously) tend to agree or understand their line of thinking regarding some of their moves much more often than everyone else on the board....I understand and agree we're all entitled to our opinions but I have to admit, I do find it uncanny how I'm the only one here who doesn't ALWAYS find fault with every move the Yanks make without EVER seeing any possible sense or upside to any move/trade or deal they make. That's all, it's no big thing. By the way, at last count- I did NOT like the last deal Cashman made trading Wilson. I have NO PROBLEM criticizing the Yanks and Cashman.

...he claimed that "90%" of the Yanx fans that he knows (unless it's been edited) feel exactly the same way he does...I asked why weren't those people posting here in his defense...no answer.
...and I posted a poll from Pinstriped Alley that show that over 50% have absolutely no confidence in the Yanx right now. ...no answer.

...I also asked considering that knowing how the majority of people on this board feel about the job being done by management, why in the world would he knowingly subject himself to such horrible fans as us on a daily basis?...again, no answer.

And as usual you conveniently forgot that I said that I was okay with Castro but I just felt the trade wasn't necessary.

...I can't believe you typed that "I always take the high road" BS without your fingers exploding.

high road translated:

I don't know what I am talking about, have no facts to back up my bullshit, and as soon as the comment is made, run and hide......then throw a few insults out there to sidetrack others from calling me out on my own bluff, instead of having to simply answer the Question(s) or reply to statements......

Let's review - compare Heyward's 2015 hitting production with Beltran's 2015 output.......and don't try and pull any of your bullshit by bringing up age and defense.....we're all aware of the differences....and we're also aware the Cubs are paying 8.4(?) Mil more THIS season for those differences....while the Yanks will be clearing out Beltran's salary after 2016 with no less than three options (as we speak) of young inexpensive players for RF. It is what it is.

Memo from Matt to Cheeseheads→"say goodbye to the playoffs".
Remember that one ......? Speak up Matt- we can't hear you....if it was good enough a couple of weeks ago ACCORDING TO YOU, it should still be good enough for you to stand up and pretend to be a man.

I'm going to be nice here & just hope that you can understand how you frustrate the crap out of people. The point here is that NO ONE even mentioned Heyward in connection with Beltran. It wasn't even a topic of discussion. You just just pulled this out of thin air just because.............well, just because.

...age and defense are "bullshit"?...seriously?...lmao...yes, because age and defense and running the bases etc., are not part of a player's resume and should not be considered when evaluating them.

...Beltran's contract like all of Cashman's "get out the checkbook" deals was a horrible one, period, and trying to draw any parallel to the Heyward deal is laughable. And this still does not explain you irrelevantly bringing Beltran and Heyward up in the first place.

...but by all means, spin away...because after all, you can always go back and edit/delete what you've said.

...now you're bringing up the Packers?...wtf do they have to do with the topic?...seriously, why do you insist on doing this crap day in and day out?
