Anything on this FAMS? I used to click on the blue dot and it would take me to the first unread post…..now when i click on a thread it goes to the original post. Anybody else?

They were bold before as well, but I think the bold was more easily seen in the old forum...

I agree. The bolded thread titles with new posts in them arent as easy to see as before. It would be cool if those were in a red font or something to make them stand out more.

Yeah, that’s my only thing. Other than not really easily deciphering a thread with new posts, I have no complaints. Thank you @SlyPokerDog and @Denny Crane . The rest of the mods can kiss my ass!

We’re really down to 6 or 7 things to work on before we consider the migration complete. After that it’s a matter of enhancements.

Among these are 1) breadcrumb is wrong, 2) better theme for our New York forums, 3) use the neato top banner graphics posted in this thread, 4) fix bold font for read/unread, 5) more distinct separation between post and signature, 6) members viewing thread at bottom of thread pages, 7) misc features not working (share link), 8) integration with TBI functionality.

Some of these are hard and take time. We are listening to all the feedback.

Something I really wanted for this theme is the white bar from the Blazers site. Scores, watch replay, schedule…. It would be a great addition to the Forum thread list page, IMO.

The code on the Blazers site is blocked from working here. We weren’t able to resolve that.

Moderators pinned those, the should un pin them if not used. I’m not a moderator…

That Duck link is the actual Ducks forum. I had to move it somewhere since we eliminated the other sports subforums.

RC2 is now able to be a PWA, or Progressive Web App. This makes the site into something resembling an app for your device. It will have an icon on the desktop, open in its own window, and so on.

On my iPad, I tap the share icon for the browser, and I see a menu like this (I also had to con “More…”). Tap the “Add to home screen” menu item and that’s it.

Just did this on my Pixel 8 and it actually streamlines in quite a bit. Less of the extra stuff, just pure forum almost. Well done.
