Jesus, this place cracks me up. "Pissed," lol!

If JJ's comments sounded genuinely pissed to any of you, I'd love to hear how you'd describe Dez Bryant's little show, lol...

We can't all write as bland and banal as you do.

OK, mister "Journalist," lol. Next time the opportunity to sit on Press Row arises, you'd better put in a good word for me. I'll even stay sober until at least halftime, if that's what it takes...

That doesn't change the fact that people blamed him. Any other fanbase would have been thrilled with a 32 point, 50% shooting outing from their star.

Chris Paul had 48pts, 27 assists, 18 rbds and 15 steals last night.

You're giving way too much credit to brainwashed laker fans. ESPN (Lakers fans) finds lots to blame the Lakers about, and the people who can't think for themselves (AKA the Laker fans) eat it right up.

No way dude, after that first game it was like a buckshot blast in all directions. I think everyone got a little bit of the blame that night. Stotts, Dame for not passing, Aldridge for not rebounding, Lopez for being ineffective, Mo for just sucking overall.... I think it's too early to pick a firm scapegoat.

I've decided to let the first game be a mulligan and take a harder look after the first 10 or so and see how things look then, of course it's fun to discuss along the way.

Aww snap, I read one of them wrong. lol. The points are accurate, but I read 15 assists, not 15 steals. Fail.

'Fraid not. You've failed again. Not to worry, even Batum has the off night every now and then.

Shaw says hickson will be guarding Aldridge without doubles. Probably reason why he wants to pump himself up. I sure hope Aldridge smacks his ass and owns this bitch

I agree with Hickson in that there was too much blame put on him. He was the scapegoat in a season where he was one of the harder working players on the floor while being asked to play a different position. A lot of players would pout about it, but he didn't.

The fact he had to play center instead of the 6-11 Aldridge is kind of sad. Aldridge is basically the size of a center with his height and length. Most of it is a waste, though, because he plays smaller than his size.
I couldn't agree more. Aldridge should be our center. He could easily get 20 and 10 every night if he was playing under the basket. But we have to go out and get a stiff like Robin Lopez, or try to turn Myers Leonard into a center, instead of using the most obvious and talented choice we have.

So you've pegged Lopez after one regular season game? Impressive.

Okay, maybe I was a little harsh. I'll give Lopez a few more games before passing judgement on him. But don't you agree that Aldridge could be a great center if he only showed an interest in doing so? I think we are wasting a golden opportunity to have an excellent starting center by allowing Aldridge to play outside and keep shooting those jumpers.

I think people get too fixated on what position someone plays. Center or power forward, it doesn't matter to me. He can be a "power forward" as long as he rebounds, scores in the paint, and blocks shots.

Hickson over Lopez any day of week and so far maynor over mo williams

Hickson says shit, LaMarcus settles shit.

Blazers win!

Aldridge pretty much made JJ his bitch every time Hickson guarded him tonight.

So....yeah, that's why we got rid of you JJ.

Lol at Hickson! 2-13! Way to make Neal regret his decision! Worst vendetta since Gilbert Arenas vowed to drop 50 on us and lit us up for 9!

BNM

Lmao!!!!!! One thing I know about Aldridge.... He really likes taking it strong against his old teammates.

Well, that's the point. Aldridge scores in the paint less and less. He's not around the basket enough to have big rebounding numbers or to block shots. He doesn't like the contact underneath so he plays away from the basket. Occasionally he'll have nice rebounding numbers, but most of the time he rebounds far less than what you would expect of a guy who's 6"11.

Note to self: Cross JJ Hickson being pissed off of the list of things to worry about this year.
