Man, you extrapolate Brown to 30 min/game and that's about 16 pts, 14 Reb, and 3 blocks. I know you can't really extrapolate and I don't know the foul situation, but those are good numbers.

yeah. I didn’t watch last nights game but the other two he looked good, but really raw. I don’t think he’s ready physically but it’s easy to imagine what he could become a year or two down the line. But 7’3 is still 7’3 and I bet he could help our rebounding issues right now.

Moses
22 min
22 points (8-13)
4 rebounds
1 block
1 assist

Hoard
27 min
15 points (7-13)
4 rebounds
2 assists
2 steals
2 TO

Nice contributions from both. Glad they are getting time to develop. I'm very interested to see what position Hoard ends up playing.

In small sample sizes I think Moses would possibly be a better center than Skal...I think Hoard would be a better player than Hezonja...

I agree down the road, but Moses gets pushed around too easily. He has strong legs, but doesn't really know how to use his strength yet--and should still try and get stronger.

If you scroll up in the photo, you see their knees are about the same height..and then holy crap, the waste of his shorts are at Hoards elbow...so you think he'll be like a fucking giant.

And then you get to the head and you're almost disappointed in how tall he doesn't appear to be. It's as if they framed the photo with an actual, physical frame, and if he stood up straight his head would hit the top of it. So they asked him to slouch a bit to fit in the frame.

You may not know it, but you have written a classic of the English language. This excerpt will be memorized by students in future centuries.

I've started watching these G-League games on the internet. You can see why the players aren't in the NBA.

Oh, sorry, just checked. Those were Blazer games.

Let's not get TOO excited: Moses wasn't just playing against G-League players, he was playing against BENCH G-League players. And he and Hoard had the worst minus scores on the team.

Having said that, it would be hard not to be a better player than Hezonja at the moment. I'd like to see HIM in the G-League (maybe he can work on his handle).

Brown bends to the floor to grab loose balls from opponents, either while on the run, or standing under the hoop.

He has an extremely live body, for his height. If someone tickled him, he'd go into a psycho twitch.

He will last in the NBA. I like him, so it must be true.

Brown
19 minutes
21 points (10-17)
7 rebounds (6 offensive)
2 blocks
2 steals

Hoard
24 minutes
12 points (6-10)
1 rebound
1 block
2 assists

Brown is really long. Looks as if Hoard was in there when they caught up and went ahead and won.

Moses needs NBA minutes so he can show what he's got. He is truly a man among children in those clips.
So Im crazy weve all accepted that, I think both of these guys with the proper work ethic have a chance at being decent rotation players in the NBA.

Hoard has no special talent, but Brown at full gallop keeps bending all the way to his shoes to grab the errant ball from opponents...wow. He's running as he does that. Plastic-man.

10-11....there is no room for that kind of efficiency on the Blazers squad. If you are having one of those nights and your name isn't Dame or CJ, you can almost guarantee single digit attempts. Sad, but true over and over and over again.

Who's Brandon Fields? I wonder if if we had our own G-League team, our guys would get more than 25 mg...

I imagine Moses is somewhere on a plane headed to Portland this morning.

Brown is as energetic as a middle school player. He wastes motion about every 2 seconds, but that's a good problem. If he weren't an athlete, he might be on meds. Guys like him cumulatively lose a little energy after each major injury, and 5 years later expend themselves as economically as the other players.

No word on if he was called back? Any word on Skal's injury then?

Skal's MRI was inconclusive and he will have another MRI while the team heads out on another road trip after tonights game.
