Better game, in a 20 point win:

I'd like to see some blocks from Brown, though.

Payne puts up number quite often. It seems I remember him with OKC turning the Blazers into his personal playground a couple of times.

Texas played Houston’s g league team and they have a guy that’ll most likely hit the market this summer in Isaiah Hartenstein that would be a great third center...better than Moses at least.

That's not really a high standard there... :bgrin:

He'd be a great target for a cheap 3rd string C. He's under contract for next season (non-guaranteed) with the Rockets though.

yeah that’s why I said most likely..I don’t think they’re gonna keep him. He’s good enough to play in the nba, but for whatever reason Houston doesn’t play him. Maybe he’s not a fit in their system. Too tall or something.

Rabb is another guy I wouldn’t mind bringing in.

maybe another useful tool in owning your own minor league team ?

This isnt about either of our guys, but a guy that’s really looked good in the g league is Cameron Payne. Looks to me like he’s added some muscle. He’s averaging 23 points, 7.5 assists, 2.4 steals with super efficient shooting percentages (39% from outside on over 7 attempts a game)

Still only 25. I’d bring him to training camp at least. We need a backup point guard anyway. He’s a small school guy too so he should fit right in.

He put up 38 tonight btw

He's the Trae Young of the G-League

You probably think I ask a lot of dumb questions anyways, but how much scouting goes on at the G-League level? Is it possible theyve been scouted teams kind of know them better now?
Don't fall for @Rastapopoulos troll post. Hoard was fine. 4-8 shooting 10 points and 6 rebounds. Brown only played 9 minutes and was 3-5 with 8 points and 7 rebounds. They're never going to be the focal point playing on someone else's G-League roster.

I can’t believe Jarret Jack plays in the G-league..good for him keeping the dream alive I guess

Remember that they're COMING OFF THE BENCH, so their production is against OTHER G-LEAGUE BENCH PLAYERS. And Brown managed 4 fouls in those 9 minutes, and the team has been hemorrhaging points while they've been on the floor over the past few games, but I'm glad they've done enough to please you.

Using G-League +/- on a team where our two players are outsiders to try and say they're regressing is crazy talk.
