OT, but if I'm understanding this correctly, we know when a mod edits a post, but we aren't told when they delete our posts? What's up with that? Sure would have saved me some head scratching if I was told my post was deleted. Who decides what jokes are left in the forum and which are deleted?

Deleting posts is close to the line between moderating and being on a power trip. Typically, a mod should leave the "post", but edit the content and give an explanation as to why the content was deleted. That way, things just don't disappear, and people aren't as confused, since they can always know who edited it, and PM the mod if they would like a further explanation.
Just a suggestion, though!
