I just picked up some new gear for my home theater. I was posting some photo's on another forum I frequent. Figured I'd start the Official Home Theaters of S2. Doesn't have to be anything special. Show us what you watch your sports on!

My gear:
TV - Sony KDS-R60XBR1 SXRD
Speakers - Fronts Definitive Technology Mythos 2, Center Mythos 3, Surrounds 4 BP Inwalls,
Subwoofer Velodyn SPLII.
Amp/Processing - Emotiva LPA-1 7 channel amp, Emotiva LCM-1 Processor
Sources - Directv HDDVR, Comcast HDDVR, Xbox 360, PS3/BluRay, Toshiba HDDVD, JVC DVD

These are some photos from a while back but not much has changed.

Nice window. Does the backplane of the TV light up with colors associated with the programming?

52" Panasonic HD. Boston Acoustic towers and surround and presence separates. (Older Yamaha YPAO receiver, so I can't go 7.1 or HDMI from the receiver, yet). PS3 for Blue Ray DVD w/HDMI to the TV.

My wife gave away our old stand and wants something much like yours.

Nice set-up. You should get a blackout shade for that window, though.

pretty sweet. I have a 40" plasma. Really old but it was free. hookedup with some cheesy speakers. live in a small apartment, can't turn up the jams really.

Nice system. Seems like putting the TV in front of a window might cause problems with sunlight outshining the TV's light and making it harder to see the picture.

Thanks. The TV plane does not light up. That's the Philips tv's I believe. As for the windows, my wife has put up a fight about covering them. However because the screen is not reflective and can get very bright, it hasn't been an issue. Though we've been considering adding a Projector to the room and she's already agreed that those windows will need to be covered. The stand is the BDI Avion 8529. My wife picked it and we both love it.

My setup:

Panasonic Viera 58" Plasma 1080p (Cnet's editor's choice, best picture)
Klipsch front, center, rear, subwoofer
Yamaha multimedia receiver (no HDMI, just 6x fiber optic) - upgrading this would be my next move
PS/3
Toshiba HDDVD
DirecTV HDDVR
WII
Logitech universal remote (rocks!)

Nice setup! But where's the pictures! I also have a Harmonly 880 which I love. Nothing like hitting one button to turn on the tv, receiver, BluRay, cut the lights (I installed an ir light sensor). The Harmony's are great. I love those Kplisch speakers. Almost bought a set myself.
Again, pictures people!!!!

Did you wall mount the Panny plasma? That thing must be huge.

hand me down 40" Pioneer Plasma
Sony 5 channel stereo!
???? speakers?
2 DVD players (one was "free")
Slingbox
Tivo box from 2001

so gangster. drops panties.

You put "free" in quotation marks. That generally means that the cost was giving another guy oral sex.

You don't know that. It could have been giving two or more guys oral sex.

I have terrible set-up here in the UK, but I'll get pics when I go back to Virginia. Good thread idea, man.

That's a really nice set-up, hypno.

I love how the colours compliment each other.

Hypno and Bob,
NICE GEAR! I'm jealous!

Bob,
Nice trampoline w/ net in the background. We got one of those also! :)

So when are you posting pictures? I know you've got a setup, you told me so!!! Love the trampoline, one of the best investments I ever made. My kids and visitors flock to it.

I dont have anything worth sharing. It's nothing all that special anymore. My 62'' JVC 720p rear projection was cool about 5 years ago. But I cant complain, I still like it. Got a new 47'' Vizio LCD on the wall in our bedroom. Vizio's aint nothing special, but it works for a bedroom TV.

Agree on the trampoline. Best money we ever spent as far as kid entertainment.

That's nice. I love the Klipsch horns. Also love the clean wall mounted flat panel tv.

That's sorta what my setup looks like, except the TV is sitting on the TV stand. The stand doesn't have doors, just 2 shelves below.

But basically same speakers.

Samsung ln46a650
Onkyo TX-SR705
Klipsch rf35, rc35, rw12, ss.5
ps3,360 and wii

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you DON'T have kids right? No system like that would survive toddlers!

I've got 2 kids, here's mine!
