Exclusive Hood re-signs in Portland

Gone are the days when either Dame or CJ needed to be on the floor at all times or it was a blood bath. I love the versatility we have all of a sudden.

I can see the young guys, like Simons, Layman, and Collins l, plus maybe someone out of Trent, Nards, and Little.... stepping up to fill in for AFA and Curry.

But we need a quality big to fill in and replace Kanter.

With no further signings, our prosepective 8-man rotation for 2020 is Dame/CJ/Hood/Zach/Nurk backed by Simons/Little/Skal. I really like that. I would love to see this season essentially be focused on developing that group.

That would be nice especially with a fully rehabbed and healthy Nurk.

Time to get help for the front court until Nurk returns..

I think Woj overdid it on the $$$ amount but still, a good deal for Portland. Now need to pick up a 4/5.

I'm glad we're keeping Hood, but as things stand right now, we're going to get destroyed in the boards. Especially while Nurkic is out.
Aminu was a shit rebounder anyways. Only seemed to get uncontested ones. And I think it's clear we will find a way to keep Kanter or get another big.

Zach, Skal, possibly Jake? UDFA's Hoard and Daum?

And or Hark. Ideally Hark becomes our utility guy. (Ideally meaning if he is happy with it)
The type of spread 4's that neither Zach or Skal MIGHT not be able to cover, are the ones Hark can. And the longer SF's Hood and Baze might not be able to cover maybe Hark gets minutes against them

Right now Hark will either be traded or play back up to both spots. I am thinking they keep he and Meyers until February.

Unfortunately that team will get manhandled on the boards.

We need another bruiser up front.

Eh. Not really thrilled. Wasnt that much impressed by him. Better than turner ever couls be though.

Does this mean bazemore starts and hood comes off the bench? Im okay with that.

There will be a few available for vet min deals once the dust settles. Kyle O'Quinn has been mentioned by several posters; I wouldn't be surprised by this.
