I was impressed with him. I like his outside shot and his ability to post up. He's not really a defensive player, but Bazemore is decent.

According to spotrac.com, letting Chief walk got the Blazers under the LT threshold by about $5.2M. If correct, that would have opened up the full MLE for Hood, correct?
