While missing a meeting may sound like a big deal to some, it's really not. Anyone who has spent much time around Miller knows that he is an intensely private and quiet individual. Sitting down and talking about things after a loss would be near the bottom of his list of favorite things to do, right next to being hung upside down by his toenails.
Philly probably shouldn't read too much into this. That said, the Sixers may not be the best long-term fit for Miller.
One destination Miller should consider this summer is Portland. The Blazers are in need of an upgrade at the point, and Miller's unassuming style would fit in very nicely in Portland. Miller could bring his experience and lead by example while simultaneously allowing Brandon Roy to remain the vocal leader and the team's best player in the clutch.
Portland will not be Miller's only option, but it could be an option that proves to be mutually beneficial.
