The Iggy dunk was because they didn't rotate correctly on the backside, not because they played up. If it was because they played up, we'd get dunks every possession. We didn't rotate well on two plays... Maybe that's because playing up wasn't the focus (for which I blame Stotts), and we might not be good enough to rotate correctly consistently enough, because we haven't done it enough, because we don't even practice it in regular season games even in times that we should (for which I also blame Stotts... I've called out Stotts for years about his rigid defense).
It takes a team effort to lock those guys down because of how many screens they run off of. Yes, you have to have a hand in their face, which is why you can't sag the guy guarding the screener. That's why it was such a terrible scheme, that the other team and the announcers were mocking...
