Hopefully some of y'all can quit dogging Terry MF Stotts now

I remember 77 very well. That was the year of the title, I graduated college, and got married. A good year!

As for the current Blazers - sorry, but I see no comparison in the situations.

Huh? Situations are very similar. Both Blazer teams going beyond expectations and facing what was said to be a superior opponent only to be blown out in the first game of the series. Very close similarities. If the internet was around back then I can only imagine what some of you would have been saying after the first and/or the second game that year.

I can only think of one explanation why Stotts allowed Curry the open shots all game. He knew that Curry has been struggling a little with his shooting lately. So maybe he won't make his shots. Or maybe it would get in his head that he is being left so wide open. Well if this was the plan; it's backfired. Curry has regained his confidence. Not sure why Stotts couldn't have seen this by halftime.
Yeah if that was the case at what point do you change strategies? After he hit his 4th three? 5th? 6th? 7th? 8th?

Here come the stats. Iggy hits threes in the playoffs. Former Finals MVP.
Are you suggesting Aminu might be an MVP? Harkless?

I believe someone on this board has lauded how much better Aminu is in the Playoffs. Maybe he just needs more shots.

I have admit I have been hard on Aminu for a very long time. He did make a few shots last playoffs but he has been just dreadful this year. Not many could say he is better this year during the playoffs.

No Walton I guess????

In that series, it was the Blazers who relentlessly played as a team (in large part due to Walton) while Philly was the team that kept resorting to hero ball. You can argue that Philly had more talent, but the Blazers played better, smarter ball. Now we have a situation where the Warriors have more talent AND play smarter.

My memory was that Walton was like a PG and even though everyone knew the sets the exicution was nearly flawless. BUT we don’t have our Walton!

Dame shot has deserted him wtf bro why he struggling, cant cope with pressure?!

Only Terry Stotts would opt for Evan Turner over Rodney Hood and Meyers Leonard over Enes Kanter or Zach Collins. WTF. Seriously? These are EASY decisions, man. If Rodney was in, they wouldn't have been able to blitz Dame and CJ. Terry is killing me over here.

Stotts had a great first half strategy.

He didn't adjust in the 2nd half.

he also did a poor job of using timeouts.
I have never been so pissed off at the officiating, I need you to tell me Im stupid and not a ref and they were all good calls. the entire 3rd quarter run was predicated on the refs allowing moving screens and letting them hack away on defense.... Least thats how I saw it.

If CJ doesn’t brick his last four shots the Blazers win and all of this Stotts bashing is unnecessary. Just saying.

This is so correct.

When a team falls short, people want to find someone to blame (never credit the other team). The easiest person to blame that takes the least amount of critical thinking is blaming the coach. The sad reality is that Golden St has an incredible amount of talent and that's why they've had all the success they've had for the past 5 years.

And there's still people that dont listen or pay attention to anything Ive been saying.

And if CJ was dialed in, I wouldn’t be unhappy with those shots.... but he wasn’t.

Seth was the hot hand and we went away from him in favor of iso hero ball.

We also win if CJ has a little self awareness and humility and passes the ball to his teammates like Seth or Meyer's in the paint when he is WIDE OPEN.

Just sayin.

If the only thing we get out of this W
WCF is terry getting exposed and then fired, it will have all been worth it.
