The more I look at some of these SG stats that blue provided the more impressed I am with Iggy. Although I still wonder how much his team's style and pace attributed to those stats
I thought so too but he is listed as SG with this website.I thought so too but he is listed as SG with this website.
ESPN has him as SG so apparently he can play both
Never particularly liked Iggy - he's always reminded me of (a better) Gerald Wallace. I haven't really watched him play since he's been with DEN. My uninformed impression is that he's due for a major decline. Isn't he in his 30s now? Thoughts? Seems like he'd help a team that's on the cusp, but would be a waste of time/money for us.
I'd much rather pay Tyreke $9M than Iggy $9M (and I'm guessing Iggy is more like $14M?).
Mannn you guys in here are trippin talking about Iggy and Jack. Nice players, but they are role players on the wrong side of their prime. Tyreke Evans is one of the most talented guards in the league and he's freakin Lillard's age. He has great size and athleticism to complement Lillard on both ends (there are some who think he will develop into an elite stopper with the right situation and coaching), and he can penetrate and create for himself and others. His biggest weakness is shooting but it still makes him a good match with Lillard, Matthews, Batum.
This is the kind of guy who can change our fortunes. He's probably readily available due to the Kings' stupidity and dysfunction (see: Thomas Robinson trade, c. February).
Even if one of them suffers, I foresee a positive synergistic effect for the team's overall success because they complement each other very well. Dame/Reke/Wes is a terrific three guard combo with skills that few other teams can replicate in the backcourt.
Reke = my no.1 target this summer, but he's a RFA unfortunately.
Evans would immediately be our 3rd best player behind ROY Lilly, and Aldridge. Dont understand some people here.

Yeah, which is exactly our best case scenario out of this summer. Get a new 3rd best player.
Then we can trade Batum! He and maybe Leonard could land us a top tier center.
Well, Batum and Leonard should be able to land us something nice. But I think it might be better for the near- and long-term to get a cheaper defensive center, keep Batum, and develop Leonard.
Dream scenario is landing Evans and Asik. Is it possible if we trade Matthews?

I think offering Batum and Leonard would be ideal for Asik, Robinson and Jones
Maybe not the worst idea. Robinson is a nice prospect and I'd probably agree to your trade. But if the Rockets could be talked into #10 and Matthews for just Asik, wouldn't that be better for us?
His three has improved but since teams have adjusted (crowding him) he doesn't look like the Roy-esque he did during his rookie year.
Going up against second-unit defenses, as our 6th Man, he'd probably look pretty good.I wonder how he would look on a team where he wasnt one of the main options though.
I would would pretty happy with a Lillard, Evans, Batum, LMA and Asik starting line-up. Its not perfect but it would be fun and it would compete for sure. Not sure if its realistic or possible.
No offense, but it doesnt seem like many people watched Tyreke all that much this year. This season is arguably his best. More efficient (better decisions shooting, scoring, passing) which shows that he is starting to mature (I honestly thought he would be like JR Smith, a talented but immature glorified chucker) but he is proving that wrong. He also plays on a team that lacks any sort of chemistry that all try and get there own stats filled out. With a poor coaching system and an inept front office. And Im pretty sure he wouldn't be our 6th man.
