I know that last year when houston beat us it messed up home court somehow, can someone please explain if we gained something extra tonight besides a win?

We have one win and we need four to move on to the next round. The big part about winning on the road in the first game is that you need three more wins, and you still have three more home games. So basically, the Blazers can win the series without having to win in Phoenix again. If we win all of our games in Portland, we are guaranteed to go to the next series now.

The Blazers now can win the series with just home wins. They don't need to win in Phoenix again. But let's do it anyway.

We're winning Game 2.

Phoenix "might get lucky" and win 2 games, though. But, if we win Game 2, the series is over. Phoenix can make their reservations at Superstition Springs.

"Home court advantage" is basically just an assumption that if every team were to win the home games, the team with the higher seeding would win the series. Now that we have won in Phoenix, we'd come out on top if every game the home team wins.

nevermind, someone was telling me something about the lower seed gains homecourt over the higher seed if they win the first game, I didnt think it was true but I thought i would ask.

no its a eat my dick series, and I have one nut in your mouth so far, so I have home court advantage.
