question is, will it be recordable or savable to watch in a delayed fashion? I havent been able to find a clear answer on that one yet.
no idea....I'll be catching most of the season on AM radio myself...not a TV guy at all..I watch the condensed games the next day online and watch TNT games online live...occassionally I'll go to a pub and catch a game if it's safe to do that these days...since I was a kid I've followed most sports on the radio...old habit..I can visit my son and he has all the cable accounts, etc....

oh man if i cant rewind and play that killer move back a few times ill just cry!
Also sometimes during weeknight games i leave early to beat the crowd so im not out until midnight on a work night. But then i need to be able to come home and watch the last quarter. If i cant do that im screwed. Lol.

Update:

found some relevant news here:

@MickZagger to answer your question about games at the same time, root mentioned an overage channel provided by the cable and tv providers. So there must be a root and a root 2 channel or something.

from all the research ive done so far i havent found anything indicating any streaming deal will be done prior to tip off this season.

So the only options are cable, satellite and at&t.

This is not good…….

Root does seem to be growing though, and now with them having major sports all year around, they should be branching out eventually. Just not likely for this year it sounds like.

Got to figure with their best player having a contract with Hulu, they're not going to mess with that..
I hope you’re right, but I read this part and I’m not sure stuff like that is taken into consideration. Back when Comcast garbage started, CSN or whatever it was called wasn’t even an option on Spectrum (Charter at the time) and that was owned by Paul Allen and still didn’t have Blazers on it. But like you said streaming is bigger now. So hope something gets worked out, but won’t hold my breath.

According to an article on The Athletic, Root Sports is beginning discussions with Hulu, YouTube, FUBOTV and other platforms about getting more options for streaming.

They always say that. They just say that to make it look like they care

I've accepted that I won't be watching many games this year (I'm not switching to a different cable provider), and they fed us the line about how they were working on the CSN for 10 years and nothing changed.

So until it actually happens, I have zero reason to believe it will. And yes I realize that left me open for a "virgin" joke by HCP or someone else who isn't really creative.

Low hanging fruit FAMS……. Low hanging fruit.

i just hope they dont force you to get the higher price package. $65/month is still steep, i don't see the advantage of cord-cutting

If that’s the case you could have just went and got AT&T TV streaming for that price..

For now we are gonna go with a month to month directtv stream until something else comes along. They have it all.

I don't know why McGowan isn't bringing back an internet version of Blazervision on making a buck on it while cutting fans a break through the Blazers marketing or Jody Allen's pocketbook...the first franchise to provide this service will make bank...at the bottom least Blazers.com should provide free audio broadcast of the games to accompany their gametracks livefeeds. Sell season internet tickets like Netflix...let each account have family lines included...people can bundle together to afford it.

Let me understand this? With my Comcast Cable i should still be able to get games right?
Comcast carries Root Sports right? It's not like it's going to be blacked out or anything right?

1 million percent! Makes no sense, especially because they already have the broadcast team and capabilities in place. I can't image this endeavor would even cost all that much to setup and get going. @THE HCP any insight on this? :dunno:
