Agreed. These guys voluntarily mod this board. Let's not throw them under the bus. I've been roaming these boards for years now and I haven't had a problem with the moderating. Keep up the good work, boys :)

I do for many reasons. A team will come back from 0-3 eventually. Blazers have won 5 of the 8 halves in the series. Blazers have historically played the Spurs well in the regular season. Spurs have choked in the playoffs the last four seasons. Swept by Suns, beat by 8th seed, lost four straight to OKC , blew lead in Game 6 of NBA Finals. We are a very good team that plays well with its back to the wall. It would not surprise me at all if the Blazers won the series. In 2003, I told everyone we'd win the series when we were down 0-3 to Mavs. I was almost right. I'm not always optimistic. Before Game 1 of first round against Houston, I was sure we'd lose the series. Had no faith in our ability to beat them. I feel differently about San Antonio. Game 4 of the SA series was an easier win than we ever had against Houston. We are about to get on a roll. Watch and enjoy.
 
I havent been banned yet so id say mods do a damn near perfect job. My opinion is the only one that matters anyway.

But I believe he believes what he says he believes, so personally I'm fine with him making threads.

King makes bold statements but I think its more because he has epifanies and realized he figured out something the masses haven't caught onto yet so he wants to be the first to spread the world. Sometimes he's right as when he thought we were a lock for the playoffs. Sometimes he's wrong as when he thought the Lakers were a lock for the playoffs.

Yes the mods really do suck on this site. I want a damn refund. I'm off to go search for me big receipt its got to be around here somewhere.
 
KS is over the top optimistic. MM is over the top pessimistic. Neither is right. Neither is wrong. Just seeing the world through their own eyes. I agree with KS that at some point it has to happen but to BELIEVE it will is a little unrealistic. Nothing worth getting your panties in a wad over. For the record though KS, being "almost" right means you were wrong, no need to sugar coat it. Until the clock reads 0:00 and the Spurs have secured one more win, we do have a chance.

MM has been very angry/bitter the last year or so. He used to be one if my favs. I'd like to see the old MM sometime soon.

Puzzling - and more than a little silly.

Thankfully, nothing here can top recent events on a wargaming site I frequent. A small, but very loud, segment of the community melted down because a new mod was an (gasp!) asian woman.

Not that they were bigoted against asians. Not that they objected to girls in the clubhouse. Oh no...the problem was that she was asian AND female. Because asian women are pettite and tend to look young for their age, having an asian woman as a mod would attract pedophiles to the site!

I really wish I was making this up. The site even lost at least one advertiser over the issue. :crazy:
 
SlyPokerDog's reputation is destroyed if he doesn't suspend someone for saying their reputation is destroyed. Mark it down.
