The term "to troll" started out as a fishing reference. Not like an actual troll, like the ones that hide under bridges. Trolling for responses. It evolved over time, but the term essentially meant baiting.

It's been replaced by pessimism and argument. Talking about the team or the sport is what these forums should be about, not talking at each other. Fact is we can win 4 games in a row. Until we don't, it's a possibility. If a person doesn't like a thread, there's another one that'll float your boat. Man it feels good to get a win over the Spurs last night and I want 3 more of those! I think the team does too! That's not a double standard, it's pride, swagger and confidence. Safe money is not on the Blazers if you're gambling but I don't gamble so it's irrelevant to me.

I admit I had given up hope and was just watching the last game out of my blazer addiction, but then when they started to play well, I quickly recovered my smile and my enthusiastic TV viewing stance. Had a blast, and personally, I'm just real happy it isnt a sweep, as I think sweeps can be very harmful on the psyche of a team. As far as next game goes, I have no idea, but I'll be perched and ready to cheer on every Blazer point. I actually have a pretty good feeling about next game, but after watching the first three I don't trust my gut feeling much anymore.
