If Dirk gets the kind of calls in Dallas he did when he played against Portland then LA will get swept.

He went to the line 30 times in the first two games in Dallas and only 11 times in two games in Portland.

In the first two games in LA Dirk went to the line only 10 times total.
LA better hope the same bullshit doesn't happen to them or they are going to get swept.
 
Sorry, Lakers fans. It's over on Sunday afternoon. Sweep. Dallas is the better team. This isn't 2006. Dallas has HOF point guard, Marion, and top 3 defensive player of the year candidate Tyson Chandler now. They're not gonna fold. Kobe blew it when he choked at the end of game 1. It's all good. Lakers had a nice run.
 
Oh and game 4 is at 12:30 PT. That is death for the Lakers.

Nope. Even though the game is in Dallas, it's at 12:30pm PT. That's not good for Lakers. They're bodies know what time it is in LA. Plus, there are less than 40 hours between games. Death for Lakers.
 
not saying it will or wont happen but i will be curious to see what laker/kobe fans say about the series/playoffs if they lose to dallas

Well according to a MediaTakeOut.com snitch - it's because Pau and his LONGTIME GIRLFRIEND and FIANCE Sylvia broke up . . . and he blames a TEAMMATE for him getting DUMPED!

The insider, who is affiliated with the Lakers, told MediaTakeOut.com that Pau's girlfriend SYLVIA and a teammates wife (who will remain nameless) became good friends. And two weeks ago Pau was ROCKED by news that his girlfriend/fiance DUMPED HIM.

The snitch told MediaTakeOut.com, "Pau thinks that [TEAMMATES] wife was behind it. Sylvia didn't have many friends and he's convinced that [wife] either is behind it, or could have talked Sylvia out of it." And word is that when Pau's TEAMMATE [the husband] tried to talk to Pau about it, the two got into an ARGUMENT - with each saying some very RECKLESS THINGS about each others LADIES.

So now Pau and THIS teammate are no longer speaking to each other. And their ON COURT chemistry is definitely off.

As Jason Terry said, the Mavs GAVE the Lakers that 16 point point lead. They quickly took it back and have dominated since then.
 
The Lakers will get pummeled on Sunday like they did inGame 6 vs Boston.

Sure you are blaming the refs. I'm sure it's very uncomfortable being a Laker fan now and not being able to get all the iffy and key calls, as in the past. The announcers said it was a "bad" foul by Kobe with two minutes left and Dallas in the penalty but Kobe couldn't believe they called a foul on him in that situation, because they never have before.

A foul against Fisher with 17 seconds to go, unbelievable! The Lakers are always the recipients of those calls at key moments, how can this be!!??

Sorry, Kobe, better watch out who you insult!

Well, this is gearing up to be the most interesting Western Conference Finals in forever. Dallas vs OKC or Memphis.

Poor Pau. He pulled the Lakers out of a huge rut and got them to the Finals three times, winning two of them. The three years before Pau? 2005- lotto, 2006- out in 1st round, 2007- out in 1st round.

Now everyone's ready to run Pau out of town. Amazing. I guess he kind of deserves it because they're paying him millions and he's not delivering. Still.... Wow.
 
I love how Laker fans (well, almost all sports fans, but esp Laker fans) are totally oblivious to trades working or not.

If the best trade the Magic can get for Dwight Howard is Pau Gasol, they should be disbanded as a franchise.
