A Gag Order. I am so sick of all arod all the time when the games should be the focus. It would be in every ones best interest if all parties would agree to the order.

...yup, there's an old adage about negotiations that goes something like; "Present you offer, and then shut up, ...because the next person that speaks, loses".

From your mouth to Gods ears. Unfortunately it seems like everyone wants a part of the lime light.

Unfortunately what it comes down to is that everyone wants to be right... and when someone else says that you are wrong, you feel the need to defend yourself, so I just don't see a gag order happening although it would definitely be in everyone's best interest to just SHUT UP already...

Agreed, but who has the authority to order it? MLB likely does but since they have been engaging in the public communications I can't see that happening.

That said, hopefully yesterdays events will go along way to toning things down. Anytime ARod's lawyer shows up to do an interview he should expect to be pestered with questions about why they won't sign the disclosure agreement that MLB offered especially after alledgedly asking for that exact thing for the past 3 or 4 weeks as he claimed. Seems that will have an impact on things. Also, the medical stuff is moving into grievence and perhaps the courts so that should shut that up too.

I'm not sure the arbitrator has the power, but with the escalation of words between attorney's, sooner or later, someone will file a civil lawsuit and then the judge could issue the gag order. Let's hope. MLB is clearly trying to force the fight. Stay tuned for the 5pm-6pm press releases...
