Nope. I dont care if there is hypocrisy within the government. If you or anyone else can do a better job running a country with 200million then step up and run for presidency.

The IRS itself says that paying income tax is a "fundamental obligation" an "understood, and well accpepted one" ....when asked to show a law that requires us to pay income tax.Just watch the part about income tax...I suck at explaining this. They talk abou tthat same exact thing in the movie.
 
I believe the constitution states that an admendment needs to be passed by 2/3 of the states, which would have been only 48 at the time, so 38/48 is more than 2/3. also once its in the constitution is Law.
 
Haha, Reppin, you're being absolutely silly with this. There's many things that aren't absolutely stated by the constitution, that's where implied powers come in and so on. The same thing that gives the government power to create an army give a woman the freedom to abort a baby. You should probably take a class on US government.

well onto the banking system, I agree it needs change. but the current system was put in place to try and get the country out of the depression. but we're in such a way now that we won't ever be able to go back. going back to the gold standard now would cause our economy to fall to such sh*t that it we would never recover. Big business would be completly ruined, and while some librals would love seeing that, the fact remains that they still employee a majority of American workers, and they and their products allow us to live the lives we live.I've been hearing about the card system for years, but I don't think it will be a reality because it would be such a hassell to impliment. Well this isn't meant to take sides - it isn't liberal or republican at all, the documentary actually addresses things done by Clinton, and Bush - so this movie isn't biased towards one political affiliation.Also, how can it be jibberish if this stuff is true - there are no conspiracty theories in any of this...all facts.About the National ID's - it is going to happen...has alread been signed and is going to be in full affect by 2008.Suspension of Habeus Corpus - has already happened...just signed 2 weeks ago by President Bush.

You're right that we should not enter this, but this has already been approved, and IS going to happen. Also, it is going to make three countries one - why does the US keep their borders open, and than expect people to carry ID cards everywhere...because there will be no borders...it will be the NA which is one country, with three provinces.
The world is run by the United States, and has been for the most part since the collapse of the Soviet Union. this isn't uncommon in the history of the world, anytime there has been an alone super-power you get this type of stuff.

You guys need to be more concious about your government - how can you say you don't care if they follow you around...with a switch they can end your life if they wanted to...that's ok to you?? Aren't we supposed to be a democracy...we are supposed to be "free" - how is that free??

Its fact, but it seems like they are taking things way out of context. the National IDs is likly going to be challenged in court, and will go through a leanthy process within the judicial system before anything really gets done. remember just because the government says something will happen by a certain date doesn't mean it will. the government is natoriously slow.My understanding of the Law president Bush signed is that it only effects captured terrorist, and non US nationals in the possesions of the US. the US possesions don't have the same constitutional rights as we do in the US.I'm not OK with the government following me, but there is nothing I can do. like I said they've been doing it for years. I think the government should be allowed to track suspected terrorist, but nothing they find out from the trackings should be used in a court of law, nor should it be groups for probible cause.

It actually makes sense to me.Its hard to explain so I will just put it in a scenario.If there is $200 dollars worth of services and merchandise on the market, the mint can only print $200 in cash. It is meant to keep businesses running and the economy strong. I dont think the value of our dollar is going down, everyone else's is going up. Which is good for the world economy. I really dont see a problem with it at all.

No.All it takes is a push of a button, and a signature, and you've got a million dollars to be loaned - they made that money out of thin air - they didn't just take it from themselves and give it to you to borrow...Also...when people say a house's value increases...that's false...It's the money's value thats decreasing so to buy the samething it costs more to buy.
