OT I was just almost beaten up and arrested at Walmart

The desk sergeant was very polite and helpful. After listening to a brief version of what happened his advice was designed to put the incident in the hands of who could properly investigate instead of it getting lost in bureaucracy.

Good Luck! I really do think Walmart must do something about what the hell goes on in their stores. I truly hate to go there. I had a hassle there last year, not like yours but annoying all the same.
No sense in store being a friggin hangout.

If the biker guy was really a wal-mart employee and he assaulted you, you probably could have sued the shit out of Wal-Mart (or gotten a nice settlement). The fact that the employees were so non responsive and hostile to you makes me think they were in on it somehow.

Anyway, you definitely need to report this to either the police, or someone in upper management at wal-mart, because it sounds like they need to fire a lot of their staff.

I give you kudos for not laughing in the faces of the employees/wannabe security guard who got up in your face.
Last time someone tried to physically intimidate me into obeying laws they thought they understood, laughing was my response.
There is a good chance if I was in your position I would have ended up laughing at the walmart employees.
Call the police next time you see that happening, worst case they already know of the incident and have units otw.

New update: While I was running errands my attorney called me back. I had sent him a brief synopsis of what happened.

He pointed out one thing, that once I file a police report about this and tie my name to it I will be called for everyone's future lawsuit against Walmart for years to come.

I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Big company like Walmart I could see having a dozen lawsuits a year just in the local metro area.

With respect, I highly doubt that. Not everyone can afford a lawyer and a lawsuit. Most are just going to shake it off and shop elsewhere.

But this is entirely your choice. Only you can value what it's worth to you.

They better pay you for your time if it doesn't involve your case. Doesn't seem like they can force you to do that. Maybe in an instance that someone from your case files a lawsuit against Wal-Mart like the woman who got beat, or the employee who wanted to fight you, caused I'm sure by the stress of working at Wal-Mart ( really he's just an asshole)

I witnessed many public fights while living in China, quite a few domestics. Never got involved and never would anyone. If you did, they would both certainly turn on you. More embarrassing for the family to have an outsider step in. And the whole me being a white guy would have caused me more trouble. Can't ever fight in China, always more of them and they always use numbers.

The whole camera thing is funny. A lot of people are trained to say that but it's not in any actual training manual because it's not illegal to take pictures. When i worked as hospital securitg a guy started filming me trying to say the nurses were making fun of him cause he hurt his foot. What had happened was i was called because he was actining biligerent, when i arrived ems was leaving with a stetcher and ran over a nurses foot. They were giving eachother a hard time and this paranoid dude thought they were talking about him. While trying to explain the situation he broke out his phone because he thought i was threatening him and he was being treated unjustly. Well then nurses tried to say do to HIPPA law he couldnt film. Which was only partially true. He could film us, just not another patient or their medical history. He had every right to film his own and us. They wanted me to sieze the phone illegally, but i said ill do everyone one better, and shut the door with just me and him in the room. Then i opened the blinds and stood in view of everyone and posed for his camera. I was quite handsome that day. The angle he was at his camera couldnt see other patients and i just stood there until he calmed down and got bored, then i explained the situation and apologized for any misunderstandings. Still havent seen myself on worldstar or had any brutality charges.

Always got to adjust for culture. But here in america we have a bunch of rednecks and somethings get you an ass whoopin, hitting a woman is one of them. Most women deserve it, but it still aint right.
