That's how I felt when I read about some whatever wagging their johnson in front of otherwise innocent women and girls. You do a decent job of describing your background and political values (BTW, thank you for your service!), yet seem to miss on some of the moral aspects. That's kinda what this thread is about: Common morality and consideration/respect.

As an aside.....were you a child of the VNW era? I think of protests, free love (of sorts), and, tumult, and revolution. Aaaanyway, I thought of this Woodstock song, but, to me, NOBODY brings it like Luther!! Oh, and what's not to love about a B3 organ!!

Lucia has been quite sick. Wouldn't eat at all for two days. Took her to v.e.t. She is finally improving. Landlord talking about illegally evicting me from house I rented for 23 years after I pointed out new lease illegal. Not a good week.

That sucks to hear (although I can't say I'm not amused by the fact that you even spell out "vet" as though you don't want Lucia to know what you're typing about).

I hope you're able to get your housing situation resolved. We had some friends who had to endure something similar a few years ago, causing them to have to live in an RV in our front yard for a couple months. But fortunately for them, it ended up with them finding a better house in which they're currently living quite happily.

Sorry to hear that...one of my favorite hens is looking like she's giving up the grind...won't eat and is brooding on an empty nest day and night...have to take her out to get her to drink or eat anything outside the nest and she goes right back...sorry about your rent too...23 years is a long time to rent a place. Maybe you'll end up in Oregon when it's all said and done! Much cheaper rent than SF

I have most of Luther's recordings....I saw him live at the Beverly Wilshire in Hollywood and the stage was like a living room and he sat in an overstuffed chair in a tux and sang all the good shit....saw Frankie Beverly and the Maze there the next week...classic soul music.......

Luther was a special singer. Dude died way too early! Dance With My Father always brings a few tears.
 
Feathers on bath mat. Looks like Lucia feeling better. Don't know how much longer we will have a home. They won't respond to emails or voice mail. If they try to force me out they will have a hell of a fight.

I just don't understand how they can do this?! We owned a townhome rental and the tenant had not paid for 6 months. We had no recourse (COVID didn't help the situation) but to sell the place! Even that was like pulling teeth to finally get him out of there!! Oh, and he was on month-to-month at that point, so it should have been easy, right?? Wrong.
 
They know what they are doing is illegal but figure I will consider it easier to pay than fight. They literally retroactively changed current lease.
 
I think the people protesting this are intolerant bigots but that doesn’t mean they should be physically attacked or have their property stolen for peacefully gathering to express their stone-age views.

Do these Black Bloc cowards ever not attack in a group? At least animals attack in packs to survive. These clowns aren’t even animals. They’re much worse.

YouLube banned the video so it’s obvious it made the Left look bad. I didn’t say Antifa, I said Black Bloc. Cowards won’t even show their faces and attack in groups not for survival, but because they won’t be prosecuted for it. They are less than animals in my mind. Disagreeing is one thing. Assaulting people and taking their property forcefully isn’t just a disagreement, it’s criminal.

YouLube leaves videos up glorifying pedophilia and monetizes them, but if the far Left acts like barbarians attacking people exercising their first Amendment rights, that must be banned.

Anybody assaulting other people should be arrested and charged. Regardless of affiliation.

The title of the video called them antifa. You say they are Black Bloc. Whatever.

The police need to do a better job of getting evidence of these criminals being violent so they can be prosecuted.

Since this irrelevant matter came up in the thread ... Landlord backed down. Got an email saying it was all an error due to new computer system and they are working on corrected lease. Bullshit of course, they backed down because I know the law, know who to contact and have volunteered in enough campaigns to have nodding acquaintance with local elected reps. Asked me to "bare with her". Figured since I won the main issue I would go along in pretending it was computer error and not point out correct phrase is bear with her.

There are women I would not mind baring with but she isn't one of them.
