IDK, I think we should argue about it every day, 10 hours/day for a year or so and then maybe we can get some clarity.

thats what EVERYONE does here have you read through the threads? But you, like others, only like to hold certain people accountable.

You and i have never had a bad interaction. I came and supported you at an event. But yet here you are judging me without ever actually trying to have a conversation with me…

Do you not see how fucked up that is man?

But yeah. Im the only guy around causing issues, arguing all day, etc.

So sick of that biased bullshit around here.
You want me to stop? Then dont make stupid posts like you just did….

Thanks for outing yourself as yet a other of those types….

wtf man….

Senator Tom Cotton has proposed a law that would require incarcerated transgender women be put in men's prisons and explicitly prohibits any protective custody.
Because rape and murder of trans women is so pro life.
Prisoners are specifically listed among "the least of these" in St. Matthew, but real American Christians like Cotton know that is passe. Hate gays, love guns, outlaw abortion, vote Republican are the new commandments.

There might be more to this.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/tom-cotton-senate-bill-prison-inmates-birth-gender-identity

A prisoner's gender at birth, not their gender identity, would determine where they would be housed, under a U.S. Senate bill proposed last week by Republican Tom Cotton of Arkansas.

The bill introduced Wednesday came in response to a report that President Biden may sign an executive action requiring the Federal Bureau of Prisons to allow transgender inmates to go to a prison that fits their gender identity.

"President Biden’s plan to house male and female prisoners together will put women in danger," Cotton said in a statement. "Documented cases prove that placing men — including ones who ‘identify’ as female — in women’s prisons puts female inmates at increased risk of sexual assault. My bill will stop the president’s ill-conceived plan and keep men and women separated in federal prison."

No more than I said.
Cis women are not in danger from trans women. Trans women are absolutely in danger from men. And pro life Christian Tom Cotton just loves the idea of violence against trans women.

For their own protection, (men or women) trans' should be housed in their own respective sections.

What does that even mean?

You know that some transexuals have gender reassignment surgery, right?

So someone who is physically a woman but was born a man should be housed with men?

It means, the construction of a trans section in the prisons they'll be housed. One for trans men, women. If only the shower areas. Again, for their own protection. Either that, or designate trans prisons.

The Cotton bill specifically disallows any special wing or facility.

He wants trans women raped and killed.

It's called being a bigot.

There are already protective units in prison for high risk population. Not sure I can advocate for even more prisons and more space in our prisons, seems like the wrong direction for our society. Although I'm sure it would help GEO groups stock, which is one of the companies traded on the stock market who's inventory is people.

This is flat-out sicko. I don't think even @crandc could defend this travesty,

Parents' fury after biologically male counselors who identify as non-binary and use they/them pronouns slept in rooms with fifth-grade girls for three nights during school-organized science camp
  • Los Alamitos parents shared their outrage after learning that nonbinary counselors, who are biologically male, shared cabins with fifth-grade girls
  • The counselors spent three nights sleeping in the same rooms as the students, which drew the fury of some parents of Weaver Elementary School students
  • The district said that it takes ‘all complaints and concerns seriously’ and would be investigating the parents’ grievances
  • The camp has defended its actions, saying that it was following California law by placing staff ‘in cabins they identify with'
  • The Los Alamitos Unified School District has spent this year at the center of a culture war over LGBTQ issues, CRT and coronavirus policies
A group of parents lambasted an infamously woke California school district after learning that biological male counselors who are non-binary and use they/them pronouns were sleeping in the same rooms as fifth-grade girls at a school-organized science camp.

The parents said that their children, who attend Weaver Elementary School in the Los Alamitos Unified School District, came home from spending three nights at Camp Pali in San Bernardino, from January 25 to 28, to say that some of their counselors were nonbinary, yet biological men.

“I contacted the school and asked them if they were able to confirm that there was not a man actually sleeping in the same cabin as the girls. They were not able to confirm that,” Rachel Sandoval, one of the parents, told KTLA.

The outraging thing, here, as that the parents weren't even made aware!

US — Los Alamitos, California. A group of parents of students at Weaver Elementary School in Los Alamitos were unaware that male counselors who use they/them pronouns slept in cabins with their fifth-grade daughters while at a science camp, until their daughters informed them afterwards. Girls in fifth grade are typically 10- or 11-years-old......

"No parent should feel the way I feel after knowing what could have happened to my daughter. It’s awful that children had to even experience this in fifth-grade camp. If I was aware of it and I had initialed something saying this was going to be done at this outdoor science camp, I would have kept my children home." – Suzy Johnson, parent

I can't even tell you how much I hate the title of this thread. Always have. It's so condescending.

Not to be insulting/condescending at all. That said, it hit my family and has caused great consternation by the mother. Nobody ever said that changing one's gender would be easy for all concerned. Notice I said "working with". It was never meant to be a condescending remark. It's simply a reality in my sphere.

But...

Laws require teachers and medical personnel to report suspected child abuse. Texas governor Greg Abbott is now trying to require parents of trans children be considered child abusers with obligation to report so they can be prosecuted.

Marjorie Q Green has openly called for violence against transpeople, including teens and children.
