You know why it's not being discussed in the general public? Because outside of Georgia, most of the country doesn't give two shits about Herschel Walker, and I'm willing to bet if you asked 100 people who Christian Walker is, 99 would say "no idea" and the other 1 would say "is he the guy who played Anakin Skywalker?"

If you have opposite sex attraction, even if you live celibate, you are straight. If you have same sex attraction, even if you live celibate,you are gay.
Even worse, he spews the hateful "recruit children" lie. Godamighty, you think I don't know a self hating gay when I see that shit? If that is what ABM calls conservative values, he is acknowledging, yet again, that hating gay (and all LGBTQ) people is an essential conservative value. I imagine he would also say Christian value but @Lanny would disagree.

I don't think you're making the point you think you are. Especially since it doesn't change that he admitted he's attracted to men (and he is a man) nor does it address the fact you're uninformed about a LOT of things you talk about nor your steadfast belief that you can pretty much say whatever you want and only have to follow it up with attempts at snark that fall flat on your face. Kinda like your "doc" snark there.

Glad you posted that. I was thinking it but didn't know how to really address it.
Unfortunately i simply don't know enough about these issues to make bold statements on it. I'm learning quite a bit reading this thread.

I mean...it's painfully obvious. You don't even have to be LGBTQ to see it or understand what it is or means, or be able to spot it when it happens or know the signs.

Maybe people should listen to what those who *know* are saying.

You know whats even weirder? He's saying he's attractive to men, but that's ok because "it's not gay". It's just another attempt to further (continue) to smear gays as being different/wrong/other. the rainbow cult or whatever the fuck he said...or going to gay bars, etc.

All the things that prudish straights have problems with when it comes to gay men. They don't like thinking about gay men having sex, doing things of a sexual nature, or being open about their sexuality (and they're just justifying it by saying they're the ones molesting children...which is factually almost at 0% of the cases of sexual molestation).

They project their insecurities and fears so they fan justify their hatred of themselves.

Anyway, it's all a complex subject to which there are no clear cut answers. Christian may very well be gay. Who knows? To directly assume, though, that it's most likely due to the acts of his father might not be true at all. Again, who knows?

I know that I don't speak for @crandc or @YamTastic or Eric , or any of our other LGBTQ friends and family that post here or read here. Especially those who have to deal with this shit on a regular basis. But I'm sorry that you have to read this crap, and deal with this crap, especially from people who are oblivious as to why their bigoted idiotic crap is bigoted and idiotic.

Not sure what any of this means or why it matters, but it's strange that you see to be embracing violence here, and it's not surprising that a kid who is espousing ignorance, fear and division is "growing" on you.
