Finding out she’s an Italian cop brings out the soccer fan in me. She takes dives like Rudy Fernandez out there.

Sadly, the Dunning-Kruger effect prevents this. It's not your fault. It's rather tragic, really.Ok, I'm sorry everyone, I've realized the error of my ways.
AgreedI personally don't care, just as I don't care there are no 80+ year olds in the NBA.
Heck, I'm not sure if I care if anyone plays sports, maybe all that time and energy and money should be spent on something with more societal value.
But, if the rulemakers want to draw a line and say 'these people can play women's sports, and these people can't', then the rulemakers have to be very specific. And consistent. So far, they haven't been.

Once again, height and weight are not good indicators of similar athletic ability or strength between men and women.Ill chime in here if only to clarify testosterone.
Im currently self administering a testosterone shot weekly. What i learned from the doctors is testosterone ranges from 0-1100 approx.
They consider anything below 300 dangerously low. I was at 296 when first tested. After about 6 weeks of treatment, i was up to 680. Optimal is 700-900.
I go im for. Other blood teat next week. 4 months into my 18 month program.
So far i have not felt any stronger. I havent gained muscle mass and i actually had to have a second prescription for a pill that counteracts water retention which comes from increased estrogen.
Anyone getting T shots will also increase thier estrogen unless countered. This, like i said, results in increased water retention (for me it was in the feet) and often causes swelling in the breasts.
So i guess my point is, from what i have learned, T shots alone, will not create large advantages without addition of other chemicals to enhance certain side effects and suppress others.
When it comes to the physical makeup of men and women, even if they are the same height and weight, Im pretty sire there is a gap in the strength or pressure per square inch the body can provide.
There are punching bags that measure this.
I don't know for sure but im willing to bet if you paired 100men with 100 women, even at the same height and weight, the man will punch with more power per square inch than the women 90%+ of the time.
If equality is truly wanted, we should pair up like punching power along with height and weight.

Just reiterating because it seems to keep coming up.Once again? Not sure you read my post, unless this is your way of agreeing with me?

Women naturally carry more fat around their chest and hips. They would typically be unhealthy if they had as low body fat percentage as a fit man.Muscle mass per square inch?
Testosterone and estrogen level mins and maxes?
Yes, I understand.Women naturally carry more fat around their chest and hips. They would typically be unhealthy if they had as low body fat percentage as a fit man.
This body fat, while healthy and necessary for a woman to carry children, adds to their body weight without helping them athletically.
This is only one of the many athletic disadvantages women have when compared to men.
No. I think assigned female at birth should be the criteria. Unless you want to ask the female athletes in the sport what testing they want to be subjected to. I would support whatever science based means testing they agree to by something like 75%.Yes, I understand.
Are you saying we should use body fat% as the defining tool? Or part of? If using only body fat as a all in guide, how do you define? Overall? Body fat percentage in the chest and hip areas?
Bodies come in many many different builds. Meaning one person can have the same amount of body dat but its primarily in the gut and another can have most of their body fat in their hips/legs.
What is your criteria to make such a decision to allow or not allow one to compete?
Nobody at any point said anything about there being only two testosterone levels. Not sure how that even became a point. However the level that is allowed for women compete in athletics is pretty standard. Below 10nmol/LThere aren't just two levels of testosterone. There's a large range of values. Where exactly do you want to draw the line?
And, of course, testosterone isn't the only thing you need to worry about. Biology is very complex, and lots of things can give an individual an 'unfair' advantage.

But otherwise my opinion is that those assigned female at birth should be allowed to compete in the female division.
I think people should identify however they feel most comfortable. This has nothing to do with sports competitions.Gotcha
This does lead to a bit of confusion though, as there is a sect of people who say that how we are labeled at birth may not be who we/they really are.
That sexual organs and chromosomes dont make a man or a woman, but rather how they feel inside?
but now for the Olympics its back to how you were born or labeled what you were at birth?
Very confusing…
its unfortunate that all humans cant just be comfortable with who they are, as is.

I remember when Martina Navitrivola came on the scene and poeple gasped because she was ripped and and a chisled torso with a muscled neck...everyone was always accusing her of juicing but she was just an incrdible athlete. They used to whisper about her gender as well. People seem to sometimees have a hard time dealing with woman who could kick their ass.christ people have been so brain poisoned that any woman with a strong jawline is now suspect. get a fuckin grip
also besides the point but anyone who thinks Algeria would send a trans athlete to represent them at the Olympics is insane
