Did you know your question is typical of an ESFJ seeking affirmation?

"Discussing scientific theories or debating European politics isn’t likely to capture ESFJs’ interest for too long. ESFJs are more concerned with fashion and their appearance, their social status and the standings of other people. Practical matters and gossip are their bread and butter, but ESFJs do their best to use their powers for good."

Very disarming

Peta, much like the UN, was a terrific idea that was taken over and corrupted by greed and extremist points of view. I include the Tea Party in that same category.

So this is what I'm starting to comprehend........
The same group of people who voted for Trump, also loves guns, want to kill animals, don't believe in global warming, and all have the same opinion of dviss on here? Did I miss anything? You probably think the world was created in 7 days as well huh? It is interesting how they all kinda tie together. I'm sure i'll get hollered at by said people for this, but am I wrong? For those more in the know of the OT page, what other shared traits are there? Did they support the march in Charlottesville? Building a wall to keep us safe from Mexicans? I'm sure there is some differing opinions amongst them, but I'm correct right?

Dear LAKER FAN, as usual you're wrong as can be.

Roughly half of America, and more than half of legal voting citizens, elected President Trump.

Other than being legal citizens of America and voting for President Trump, they are as varied in their political and moral views as the group of legal and illegal citizens who voted for candidates other than President Trump.

Since I started this thread (just for posters to toss out any gripe about whatever that they wanted to post) I'll answer your post with my personal opinions.

1. I have no emotions pertaining to guns, which are tools I use primarily for subsistence hunting to feed my family, and which I possess as tools for the defense of my family, property and country should anyone foreign or domestic threaten them.

2. I kill a few game animals and fish now and then and my family dines on their nutritional, non-GMO flesh. Once in awhile I shoot a sage rat or 2 when they are overwhelming my property. I don't "want" to kill animals, I just prefer them to the chemical-ridden crap you buy at the store or restaurant.

3. I know there is constant climate change on Earth as there always has been. The Earth is a living, breathing organism that would die if climate change stopped.

4. I have a particularly high opinion of dviss1, whom I have briefly met, and respect him for boldly and unapologetically expressing his Freedom of Speech.

5. I'm an atheist.

6. I support The Constitution and The Bill of Rights, for all American Citizens, which includes the right to protest peacefully, regardless of their views. I support the prosecution of anyone who interferes with those rights. I do not share the view of either group at the Charlottesville riot, nor the mishandling of it by law enforcement.

7. I support 100% perfect border security and whatever it takes to reach that goal, which obviously requires walls being built on large portions of our borders.

8. Kobe anally raped a girl, who was not his wife.

The same group of people who voted for Trump

For openers, I know life long Dems, Independents, Libertarians, hard cord GOPers and some that have not voted in years, that voted for Trump. The only defining qualities are that they all were tired of the status quo, felt that the pendulum has swung too far to the left and believed that a different direction is long over due.
loves guns

I have to think about a fifty fifty split on gun ownership. For most it is about The right to bear arms, and the belief that the left does not have the right to disregard the Constitution.
want to kill animals

Most of the guys I know, do not hunt, maybe 25% do, but again, that is something that while I do not agree, I feel that it is your right to do so.
don't believe in global warming

Global warming and global cooling have been occurring from the creation of this planet. What many do not agree with is "Climate change" as a business that effects political positions and sets policy.
and all have the same opinion of dviss

Hmm, I get the general feeling that most here are like myself. I would love to hang with D and think he is a pretty sharp guy.
Did I miss anything?

Yeah, I would have to think so.
You probably think the world was created in 7 days

While I cannot speak for everyone that voted for Trump, I have to believe in what the Word of God says, even if I am not wise enough to fully understand.
It is interesting how they all kinda tie togethe

I do not see how "These all tie together" . They all seem like seperate and very complex issues for the most part.
Did they support the march in Charlottesville

Naw, I do not support extremist period. Not from the left or the right. These clowns do not speak for the majority.
Building a wall to keep us safe from Mexicans?

OThis is the smartes portion in this post. Absolutely believe that we should build a wall and secure our borders. Safety is only part of it. Economics is the bigger concern.
I'm sure there is some differing opinions amongst them
Yes we all have opinions, it is about being more Nationalist rather than Globalist

Denny will post some polls to explain Trump's fan base to you but in fairness Elprez was pretty honest ..he just wanted to watch the world burn down...It makes absolutely no sense to me ....I think mags just had some bad mushrooms

Which one is mags? I've met him and his wife and his mother. Great people. Politics are a bit off kilter but they are extremely nice people.

Am I missing something here? On one side you reference News, fake as it maybe. One the other are you not just talking opinions?
I was just filling in the gaps of the right wing ideology that @HCP missed......but then, you knew that. :smiley-hvala:

When the china shop is full of bullshit overpriced crap, who cares about the bull doing damage?

To use your stupid analogy.

It is true that policies swing left/right depending on who gets elected. Tough shit, fella. Time to let the grownups lead for a while.

If you want the grownups to lead, you're going to have to get rid of the kiddies running the White House.

I'm sure you're referring to the OP, for his thread-starting mass-insult? :dunno:

Nope, that was neither insulting or surprising

Lotta insults in this thread @PtldPlatypus
As far as I understand "butthurt" has not generally been considered an insult here, so much as a description of the labeler's perception of the labelee's reason for posting responding in a certain way, ie, that the person is upset about a certain set of circumstances and is subsequently responding emotionally and/or illogically as a result.

The post impugning HCP's intelligence, however, should probably be addressed.

Any others you see that I'm missing?

Thanks for the clarification.

An insult is only one if it is intended as such. I always take a man at his word when trying to understand such intentions or lack of intention.

I take the Maynard G. Krebs approach to work.

Okay, this is just kidding. Actually, I've had a job all my life until my medical problems interfered.

Oh OK I shall give it a go, one by one.

The same group of people who voted for Trump,

>>> I did indeed! I hope you can join me on the next opportunity.

also loves guns
>>> I don't love guns, I think of them as tools. Learned to use then very well while a young person. A prudent person should have the option to be armed.

want to kill animals,
>>>I sure did back when I was young and had to fend for myself. I appreciated each and every kill. I learn it was not a sport at all. I do not do it at all any longer, as I have no need. Much easier to let the butcher do the work for me.

don't believe in global warming
>>>Not really sure which you mean here. Sure there is climate change. But if you want support for the agenda? Wrong dude to seek here.

all have the same opinion of dviss on here?
>>> I doubt there is a consensus opinion of dviss. I do not see him calling me racist daily so perhaps there is some improvement in @dviss1 outlook on the world. I really do not know.

You probably think the world was created in 7 days as well huh
>>>Ah! If you don't pay enough attention to avoid questions like this, nothing I could say again will help you either.

but am I wrong?
>>> You must judge right from wrong.

what other shared traits are there
>>> I would proffer, we Trump voter appreciate the rule of law, and the Constitution of the United States very much.

Did they support the march in Charlottesville
>>> It seemed to me the City government setup that fiasco. Not much to support in that management bungle at all.

Building a wall to keep us safe from Mexicans?
>>> Yes I support all efforts to control the traffic in and out of the US. It has been a shambles my whole life. One promise never kept after another. The United States should not be the overflow destination as the overflow relief for any Nation, especially since we are also reaching or have already reach our maximum sustainable population.

I'm correct right?
>>>Count up the score, what is the verdict?

I hope you're not talking about UCD's post, which was clearly tongue-in-cheek. Other than that, I didn't see any usage of those terms, or any other personal attacks.

"Cuck posts"--not an issue. "Parade of morons"--fine, I can edit that.

Going forward, might I request that you please use the "report post" option when you come across what you feel are insults? Makes it a lot easier on me, honestly.

Not an issue as its not an insult?

I'll do that thanks

Their lack of belief in global warming is what baffles me the most.

Do they not believe that in the past few decades, we've been churning out CO2 faster than the Earth can take back in? Do they not believe that we're adding CO2 to our atmosphere?

Or do they not believe in the greenhouse effect?

I don't understand which one of those they believe is a lie.
