Yeah, I agree with everybody here. Through past experience since I have Asian parents and also because this is how I feel about it looking back on it, school is more important than anything. Doing good in school will get you far in life, I.e. get into a good college, get a good-paying job, etc. I would suggest you doing good in school first before you try and do anything else. Because if you don't do good in school, you'll get your priviledges taken away and plus, your parents are going to be bugging you every single year about your grades and stuff like that. I know a lot about this, trust me. I just started college and I'm doing great now but I did terrible in math in 8th and 9th grade and my dad still gets on my case about how I have to do better and stuff. So I would advise you to start getting better now instead of it being too late to fix it. And it's also better for you to do this for YOU (realize that it's going to help you in the end) and not your parents because it's your life in the end, not theirs. Trying out for teams and going on forums/internet aren't supposed to be your #1 priority, school is. So hopefully, you take everybody's advice here and put it to some good use and hopefully, we'll see you back on here in a couple of months.
