He isn't helping our team, especially in crunch time. We need a defensive center. I think it's time to move hickson and find a true center, even if he's only getting 8 boards a game. We need someone to stop easy paint buckets.

Who's on your mind?

I would love to get Larry Sanders from the Bucks for Hickson, but i doubt they would go for that because they already have too many big men.

Forget the fact that Sanders is on a better contract, Sanders is just a better player than Hickson, period. Why the hell would they even consider that?

The only thing Sanders is better at is defense (shot blocking). Hickson is much better on offense, and is a better rebounder. They're both 24, so that cancels out. But I'd say they are on the same level. That said being said, I too don't think the Bucks would consider Hickson for Sanders. Maybe if Wes was somehow involved, but I don't see how that would work.

Why not just ask LA to slide to center? Then have the smaller player (Hickson) guard the PF.

Defense is the one thing this team is lacking though. Portland will rebound fine without Hickson, in fact they have all year

We can't trade Hickson. He has virtually zero value. Why don't people understand that?

Then maybe bring in a third team that could use a big man for a small man?

How would feel having LA as the center and Hickson as the PF?

I would much rather start Meyers Leonard and bring Hickson off the bench at both the 4 and 5 spots. We don't need our only quality big man scorer to get beat up night after night trying to guard guys who are bigger than he is.

I would hate it. Hickson Has been traded for nothing, waived and signed by us for 4mm 1 yr. There is a reason for all of that

You should also try to work with what you have available. If you think LA is the premier rim protector on the team, then you treat him as such.

I like Meyers Leonard. However, he's still the "Foul Machine." He needs to get that under control.

I'm fine with that too

This. Leonard will be lucky to average 20 mpg if he's given the starting gig, even if we let him foul out every game. However, I think the only way for him to learn how not to foul is to play.

I agree with that. So, we'll take our lumps with him as the starting 5 and may not make the playoffs this season.
