As well as he's playing tonight, I'm saying to myself that little turd could/should still be playing for the Falcons had it not been for his stupid off-the-field shenanigans.

Turkey.

Wait, we have Ryan!

But still....................

I think you're better off, regardless of how well he's playing.

He would have never blossomed in to this player in ATL. He probably wouldn't have blossomed in to this player had he not gone to jail, either. So, no worries. Matty Ice is your future and that's a good thing.

meanwhile, all the PETA-friendly (but obviously not civil-rights aware) fans up here didn't want to take a chance on him. Now we have Charlie Whitehurst (a.k.a., No-Touchdown Jesus) leading our NFC-West leading offense. :sigh:

No we don't. We have Hasselbeck who ripped it up yesterday.

uh, didnt Matt break his hand?

EDIT: Wrist. Same injury as in 2006.

Left hand. Carroll said it's manageable. He'll play in New Orleans next week, I bet. He finished the game with the crack in his hand and played well. Whitehurst sucks!!

I've really became a fan of Vick. He's matured so much since being in prison and it seems to even helped his game. He's come off as nothing but a class act as of late. I'm rooting hard for the guy. I like when people can do a complete 360 with their life.

Is choosing to not hire Vick really a civil rights issue?

I'm not too thrilled with Vick either, then again, I'm a Redskins' fan.

I think theres enough crackers in the NFL to make a good team. An all honkey bball team would be terrible.

All white NFL team?
QB: Peyton Manning
RB: Peyton Hillis
WR: Austin Collie
WR: Wes Welker
WR: Danny Amendola
TE: Dallas Clark
OL: Entire Colts offensive line (haha)

Defense is harder. White corners? I think Jason Sehorn was the last. I honestly can't think of a white corner right now. Interior defensive line?

I think an all white hoops team might be better. 15 man roster.

PG: Nash/Blake/Ridnour
SG: Ginobili/M. Miller/Dunleavy
SF: Kirilenko/Gallinari/Turkoglu
PF: Dirk/Lee/Love
C: P. Gasol/M. Gasol/Kaman

That team would win a shit ton of games!

What about Ray Lewis?

I'm not fan of Vick's and I thought he was wildly overrated as a football player prior to this season (well, except last season where he was correctly rated as an ineffective gimmick). But he's really undergone a transformation. At age 30, he suddenly has pocket presence, good decision-making and accuracy. It's incredibly rare for a quarterback to get those things so late. Pretty impressive that Vick has completely overhauled his game.

Whether he's revamped his life, hopefully. I have no idea, since I know nothing about him as a person.

I guess it's mostly disappointing to me that the Falcons bent over backwards for that kid in every way. Then, for obvious reasons, they ultimately had to give him away for next to nothing.....................only now to see him resurrect his career with one of the Falcon's rivals. (I remember Vick losing to the Eagles in the NFC Championship.)
