I love how the Republicans created the term “cancel culture” as a way to get around using (or acting upon) the words “responsibility” and “accountability”. If there is one thing that has been driven home forcefully in my 66 years of living is that the higher a person goes, and the more power they have, the less responsible and accountable they become. It is a virtual guarantee. The “little people” will always be held responsible and/or accountable, even when driven by those in power. Now THAT is genuine cancel culture....
