YouTube has outright banned The Alex Jones Channel not long after news broke that Google is building a censored search engine for China.

Interestingly, the ban – which comes on the same day that Facebook and others banned Infowars for unspecified instances of “hate speech” – comes right before the 2018 mid-term elections in which the establishment is trying to stifle President Trump’s agenda.

The channel, which had nearly 2.5 million subscribers according to YouTube, has been terminated:

It’s almost as if “Skynet” – an oft-used term to describe Big Tech and its “control freak nature” – is admitting defeat and is making last-ditch moves to stop competition to establishment-approved viewpoints.

In all honesty, social media has been “shadow banning” Infowars ever since the election of President Trump.
“Infowars is widely credited with having played a key role in electing Donald Trump. By banning Infowars, big tech is engaging in election meddling just three months before crucial mid-terms,” wrote Paul Joseph Watson. “With the Infowars ban, Apple, Facebook , Spotify & YouTube (Google) have all now ascribed themselves the power to remove people & outlets from their platforms based on their political opinions.”

“This power will be abused time and time again to meddle in elections.”

While claiming it’s banning Alex Jones over “hate speech,” Google has no problem building a censored search engine for China which scrubs results about human rights and religion.

“Google is planning to launch a censored version of its search engine in China that will blacklist websites and search terms about human rights, democracy, religion, and peaceful protest,” according to The Intercept. “The project – code-named Dragonfly – has been underway since spring of last year, and accelerated following a December 2017 meeting between Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai and a top Chinese government official, according to internal Google documents and people familiar with the plans.”

The guy is a self professed conspiracy theorist. Not my cup of tea. Where I have a problem with this is he is no worse than many "news" program on air. To shut him down across the board sets a bad precedence.

That is a matter of opinion. If you want an example of people saying things that are a danger to others, look no further than Maxine Waters telling people to harass those that you do not agree with. To me Alex Jones is more in line with Art Bell. Most of what he says is to be taken with a grain of salt.

Well, gotta give credit where credit is due. The biggest difference is that one pretends that opinion is fact, while the other makes no pretense.

Naw. I have made historical reference to how corrupt the media has been for at least one hundred and fifty years. Not a new stance for me.

Hey, wasn't it you that recommended the bakery that sold the excellent pies? Well, I went there yesterday. You should have told me it's in the same neighborhood as the Clinton theater. How many times have I seen Rocky Horror Picture Show there.

I had quiche, decaf coffee and a whole lemon meringue pie to go. My wife had regular coffee and a lemon donut.

The quiche was okay but had excellent crust. The coffee was better than average but really should have been Boyds. My wife wasn't all that crazy about the lemon donut nor her coffee. The service was the worst I've had in several years. It took an hour to get our order right. By that time my coffee was cold. I asked my wife to warm up my cup by adding some fresh coffee but they were out of decaf and out of regular. They had no apple pie nor any blackberry pie so I settled on a lemon meringue pie. The pie was not too bad but not nearly as good as I thought the $34 price would bring. The pie crust is very good. Overall, we weren't too happy.

Maybe I'll phone the bakery and try an apple or a blackberry pie when they have it in the future. Otherwise, I see no reason to return.

if you compared Bill Maher to Alex Jones you'd have the spectrum of opinion based commentary.....the AP news feeds tell me what is happening with world events, volcanos, weather, sports scores..fires...protests etc..don't confuse their editorial columns with news...Bill O'Reilly isn't a newsman....he's a shock jock as are Maher and Jones....I for one am sick of the war against the media by the administration when clearly, there are world problems to solve and address...editorials have always required followers to prop up their own beliefs with those of a public speaker....news is not that. Compare Maher and Jones....not Jones and OPB or the AP news feed shared by the entire world daily. Jimmy Kimmel and Roseanne Bar are not jounalists….many, many brave war correspondents have lost their lives on the battlefield...they are not "fake news"

For what it's worth I've never thought DLJ was racist by any stretch....he's usually quite civil even if I disagree with his opinions at times...I'm sure there are actual racists that post in the forum..but that's my view of them and usually tied to their way of posting...some may just be trolling for argument sake which is pretty sad if you ask me
