thank god. I still think we can re-sign Aldridge as he can hopefully point to the fact we just weren't fully healthy to compete this time. However, it certainly won't be a lock.

Of course he may say, "We're NEVER healthy laterz"... but yeah.

Or maybe everytime he sees Dame chuck a shitty looking 3 he thinks "I could be padding my stats on another team peace out."

It's also sad we are so snakebitten with injuries that we all just assume that Afflalo is out

Maybe we can bring in hometown hero Kevin Love if he does leave! It totally wouldn't be like when Shareef came in!

Well on broadcast they said Aaron himself felt like a tear so I can only assume it is a tear.

If LA leaves I say just start Meyers and gun for a #3 pick.

That would be a fun summer, Clownzano would write a sappy article about him coming home, and then turn on him when he played like he is in Cleveland.

Have the Blazers eclipsed the record for upper body injuries in a season?

Its his shooting arm triceps. Is there any way he could come back even if it WASNT torn?

We should have the entire team wear boxing gloves and shoulder pads next year. We'd shoot like 3% but at least we wouldn't have all these injuries.

Could we take the Rockets if they fall to 5th?

Don't worry, Jones is still having issues and I would not be surprised if before the playoffs he gets re-evaluated to find out he's been more hurt than he's let on and he'll have to sit out for the playoffs. If not Jones, someone else will probably go down the way it's looking.

Rockets-Blazers would become a battle of attrition.

the only "silver lining" is the young guys getting a chance to breakout, we already have and are seeing it in CJ, Meyers playing well when given minutes and now Crabbe may get his chance, not how I'd prefer it to happen but this does have some future benefits

To me, the trade just became a bust, I didn't think he was playing very well anyway, but now it just looks really bad.
With Arron as our sixth man we coulduh been a contenduh.

Now, with all the injuries, its likely to be a 'developmental' playoffs. Which isn't all bad, if we can keep our team intact for next season.

Crabbe has a beautiful shot, and good athleticism, but he has a ways to go to develop game intelligence. Look for Crabbe to be next year's CJ.

Injuries injuries injuries. Come the fuck on! This has me so pissed off.

I would start him next game and keep CJ coming off the bench. Crabbe has played well when starting and CJ brings the energy off the bench.

Not that we have much of a choice.......

In some ways, I like the no-pressure seasons where we kinda suck, because the young guys are often exciting. Not all years where we suck (there were some years where our young guys were awful too), but this year, I've released any pressure I might have put the team under in my own mind, and will just enjoy the ride for what it is: a chance to get our young guys battle-hardened.

Losing our shot due to injuries is beyond disappointing. But that's the way it is. All we can do is go forward and make the best of the situation. The silver lining is that we actually have good young players who will benefit from playing time, and they are about to get valuable playoff experience they otherwise might not get. This will serve us well for next season.
