iPhone help

[THE HCP]

My brother just gave me his iPhone. 3G. My man unlocked it for me so it will work with Tmobile. Everything works, but the camera of all things. When I select the camera, it does nothing. The picture of the shutter never opens, just sits there. If any of you guys are familiar w/ iPhones and can help, holler at me.
