Ok, if KP trades up that high I have to think he's after Paul George.

Not at all. If Paul could turn Chandler and West into all-stars, he can certainly do the same with LMA. 82 games of LMA >>>>20-30 games of Oden.
The #22 and #34 for #11? If NO offers that, grab it before they sober up!
You guys really kill me. Why would you take on salary of someone you didn't want? If Lebron leaves then Cleveland will have some room to make some moves, but not if they take back salary of a guy just to make Lebron happy. Portland wouldn't have any leverage because unless we shipped out who they wanted, we couldn't get Lebron.
LOL, I should have added some smilies, I guess. I was trying to facetiousl emulate Denny Crane who was saying the same about how Chicago would hold all the leverage if Lebron or Bosh chose the Bulls.

I agree.
Do you think KP would then try and turn #11 and Rudy into something higher....maybe with Minny?
So you are in the Oden is ruined forever camp eh? Even CP3 can't stop LMA's knees from shaking when he gets near the painted area.
The Orlando Magic's preliminary inquiry into the availability of point guard Chris Paul involved a discussion that included a trade of both starting guards Vince Carter and Jameer Nelson to New Orleans. The Magic, as part of the early discussion, would receive both Paul and small forward James Posey, according to a second NBA source that confirmed the original FanHouse story by Sam Amick involving the two teams. FanHouse
Although Carter is past his prime, he is attractive because he has only one year remaining on his contract, worth $17.7 million. It would allow the Hornets to drop below the salary cap next summer. Nelson, an All-Star point guard two seasons ago, has three years remaining at $6.7, $7.3 and $7.8 million, making less than half of Paul's salary. FanHouse
The inclusion of Posey, who is scheduled to make $6.4 and $6.9 million, would make the deal work under salary cap rules and give the Magic a starting small forward to replace Matt Barnes, who is expected to leave as a free agent this summer. FanHouse

Some competition.
I'm in the strange position of hoping fervently that Portland trades my favourite player.
Forgive me, Batum.
i bet camby would move to pf
I'm pretty sure that if we have Paul, Roy and Oden, that Webster at the 3 would not necessarily be a problem..
I'm not the biggest Webster supporter, but I'd be perfectly fine with Webster playing alongside a core like Paul/Roy/Oden. He can shoot, he can defend. As a support player, he's not terrible.
