Is it sad that when I see this, one player is by far the worst on this list, and he's the one we get in return?
 
Pisses me off. We waited too long with Nash. We could've gotten him for Batum and he immediately would've solved all our problems on offense. Tonight, we had 5 assists and 17 turnovers in the first half. That doesn't happen with Nash. But noooooooo so many of you wanted to keep Batum. What a joke.

Christ that's such bullshit. Nothing is going to get fixed until this team replaces the coach and probably cleans out the dry rot at the top of the ladder (Miller and Allen himself).

when was this? i know this season almost everyone here would have gladly traded batum for nash if nash signed an extension. the fear was giving up batum for a 1/2 season rental.

I wouldn't have. Nash wouldn't have made a big enough difference to be worth giving up our best young player for.

Yeah right. They don't give a fuck about us. Its all Paul Allen and Larry Miller's inflated ego making decisions here. Larry probably likes looking at Blake's wife at the company BBQ.
 
on another board, there's speculation that the blazers are trying to unload felton as part of the deal to the Lakers for part of the Lamar Odom trade exception. trying to get 2 1st round picks out of it all.
 
The Blazers have to get rid of Felton at this point. You can't keep him beyond the trade deadline. You take a 2nd round pick if that is all anyone will offer for him.

Not even sure if that is possible. I think we may just have to release him after the deadline.
 
If we can't find give Felton away for a pick, then we would be best suited by waiving him after the deadline and taking on Patty. At least I enjoyed watching his game.

two firsts would be stellar ... Felton is so bad I'm not even sure he's worth a bag of deflated basketballs at this point.

As a Lakers' fan...unless we get Sessions, I don't like this deal because that means more Fisher ://. However, I do like the prospect of Michael Beasley off of the bench.

So, it's from Canzano. Usually I'd assume this meant the deal WASN'T happening, but given my entire state of disbelief, I'm going to believe he's correct on this, for once.
 
Fuck it... let's trade Aldridge for Paul Pierce... what other bad contracts can we take on? Let's do this shit right. If you're going to suck, you might as well suck for as long as possible.
 
It's more than that -- This is a move for Nate and that just means he's going to be around for a while.
 
Deal done in the morning according to Canzano. Crawford traveled to CHI with team according to Freeman.
