We didn’t sell both picks. We traded one for three seconds and we eventually sold the other.

We did kind of sell 2 picks

-- Portland received cash from the Thunder to move back from 40 to 52, then also received cash from the Warriors to relinquish the 52nd pick, according to Highkin of the Rose Garden Report.

No

But, one of these days

Vulcan Inc. was renamed Vale Group holding company in early 2024. The reason is that it has been greatly downsized from ~850 to ~140 employees by selling museums, giant yacht, art collection, vintage theater, airplane company, etc.

In recent years, the Seahawks and Blazers weren't in Vulcan Inc. They are in a separate entity, the Paul Allen Estate.

Seems like Cronin is working a plan and the ownership is probably at least backing him?
I just don't know anymore what to think? Part of me wants this team sold ASAP but they keep doing things that make me think they actually are trying to rebuild a good team.

Did Vulcan ever directly own the Blazers? I would suspect not just for tax reasons alone. There could always and still have been a management agreement to provide services, bill fees etc between the organizations.
