I went into this post thinking I'd just say "contract year" and end it at that, but now after looking at his stats I'd say maybe, maybe not. His averages, per 36, are not significantly different from his career averages per 36. IF there was some way to have a 2 headed monster of him and Nurk, it'd be awesome. It won't happen, but it'd be awesome.

I think his peak Miami year when he got 2-3 triple doubles(15/16) was better easily, but this is second best.

Hassan has been excellent. I shudder to think what our team would be like this year without him. Personally, I think there's good chance he finishes the year with us. Nurk will need to ease back into playing time and using the two at center would be very formidable.

Stat wise no but I think he’s doing more to impact games than in Miami. Thats by design though, because Portland has put more responsibility on his shoulders.

I think he’s going to stick around until the end of the season personally. Bazemore is more likely to go as his position is more of a need, assuming Nurk returns of course.

I was just trying to shoo it away and accidentally got it with the hard plastic.
