Part of the problem is that the minority has gamed the system such that they now have the say over the majority. In other words, they took the actual intent of the Founding Fathers and twisted it into a pretzel in order to cement their power and retain it into the foreseeable future. As Trumpers made exceedingly clear in 2016, elections have consequences. If the Democrats can legally pack the Supreme Court, why shouldn’t they? And if the minority wants to piss all over the rights of the majority, the the minority has no right to whine when it’s done to them. What goes around comes around....
