If you're buying a new car, especially a foreign car, get GAP insurance.

Besides the normal depreciation when you drive a new car off the lot, your car will also depreciate the tariff amount.

That could be 35% of the value of your car instantly gone.

My financial advice for the day:

Don’t buy new unless money isn’t an object. Get that $10k+ bug already splattered on the windshield discount.

Heading out on Monday morning with a friend for a 2-4 week road trip, with a vague goal of maybe reaching Nashville. Definitely eastward for lack of a more concrete goal. It will depend on how many "squirrels" we chase along the way. It is gonna be very interesting to see what prices are doing across the board......not to mention people's attitudes the farther east....and south we go. Praying that gas and motel room prices aren't immediately affected. But then, with all those Canadian tourists supposedly bailing, we might even find some deals. I will say that my friend and I have been practicing like crazy to come off as politically neutral as possible in prep for those we will likely meet along the way. And it's turning out to be one of the hardest fucking things I have ever tried to do......stupidity is an impossible disease to try and understand......

How about the second ugliest tee shirt I find? The ugliest ones will undoubtably be MAGA related and even I won't stoop that low.......but wow, I now might have to go outta my way and stop at Little America in Wyoming just for you. But then I'd have to spend an entire day sorting through hundreds of ugly tee shirts.......but whatever. Only if you promise to wear it to a Blazer game and The HCP promises to show it on live TV. Might even do a Jack Daniel's Distillery tour in your honor.....assuming we make it that far......
