Trump tried to call a witness for the committee. The witness didn't answer and told their lawyer who passed on the information to the committee who referred it to the justice department.
Witness tampering is illegal.

- The DHS watchdog sent a letter to the Homeland Security committees in the House and the Senate on Wednesday
- 'Many' text messages between the US Secret Service were deleted after the watchdog made a request for electronic communications, the letter states
- The Homeland Security Inspector General requested them as part of his office's investigation into the January 6 attack on the US Capitol
- DHS employees refused to hand over documents until they were reviewed by the department's lawyers, the inspector general's office said
'Many' US Secret Service text messages written between January 5 and January 6 last year have been deleted, the Homeland Security Inspector General said in a stunning letter on Thursday.
The messages were allegedly erased after the inspector general's office asked the law enforcement office for electronic communications as part of its probe into the US Capitol attack.
The letter, first obtained by CNN, is addressed to the top members of the House and Senate Homeland Security Committees.
It states that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) told its watchdog the messages were deleted 'as part of a device-replacement program.'
The inspector general also accuses DHS employees of stonewalling requests for information until they were reviewed by the department's lawyers.
'This review led to weeks-long delays in [the inspector general's office] obtaining records and created confusion over whether all records had been produced,' the letter states.
Inspector General Joseph Cuffari wrote that the purpose of his letter was to offer lawmakers a briefing on the 'access issues.'
'Sir, you need to take your hand off the steering wheel. We're going back to the West Wing, we're not going to the Capitol,' Hutchinson was told Secret Service agent Robert Engel said.
'Mr. Trump then used his free hand to lunge towards Bobby Engel,' Hutchinson recalled.
Ornato 'motioned toward his clavicle,' she added, as a sign the president went for his security detail's throat.
Multiple people have said Ornato disputes Hutchinson's account, though he's yet to do so publicly under oath.
Lawmakers on the committee have since confirmed that they have witnesses corroborating the senior White House aide's testimony, though no specifics have been made available thus far.

probably the texts about kidnapping Mike pence
So have they revealed how the capital was breached?
They've been scrubbing their laundry for a year and a half to protect themselves over this...probably some internal blackmail keeping the wheels stopped until the midterms would be my guess. I guess they're called the Secret Service because they actually have secrets after all..something is rotten over the coup and the conspiracy probably had really deep operatives.Jan. 6 committee subpoenas Secret Service for records, wow. Getting to the bottom of all the traitors.
So have they revealed how the capital was breached?
Republicans saying if they take the House, and with gerrymandering they may well without getting a majority of votes, they will hold revenge hearings.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-called-top-wisconsin-election-014425625.html
Trump called top Wisconsin election official, Robin Vos, the speaker of the state assembly last week to once again ask for the overturning of Biden's victory in the state in 2020.
Lock him up!
FTFYThe sad thing is, is it won't be evidence, just yelling and gaslighting.
I just want to get through these midterms without a civil war breaking out.
Honestly surprised it hasn't yet.Trump continuing to go after people who don't do his bidding is going to get one of them killed.
