Congressional Republicans now asking Biden to convince Democrats not to impeach Trump, in the interest of national unity. The same Republicans who to this day insist he wasn't legitimately elected.

...pure speculation here, but this dude didn't kill himself because he felt guilty about his fallen CP -- this guy was ashamed that mascinations of his father et al were unsuccessful-- the insurrection failed. His dad was Sgt in Arms decades ago and has been linked to Manafort in the past. This wasn't just a spontaneous event that got out of hand. Many many people up the chain are complicit.

To those who would downplay, minimize, or trivialize what happened on the 6th and excuse it as a mere protest that is being overdramatized, if you can look at this and still say the same you are no better than the people took part in this insurrection.

They murdered that man. They beat him to death. There is no excuse.

Trump caused this. He needs to be prosecuted for it.
 
It has been reported from numerous sources that Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, sponsored 80 busloads of “protesters” to Wednesday’s insurrection at the Capitol. Let’s say each bus held 30 people. That’s over 2,000 individuals. This is in addition to promulgating the lies about Donald Trump’s “stolen election” through her social media up to and including the morning of Wednesday’s insurrection. What’s the likelihood that any one of those 2,400 individuals participated in the seditious attempt at overthrowing our government? Of course, Mrs. Thomas has since deleted the relevant social media posts, but they were already captured.

After 9/11, anyone questioning even in the least George W. Bush’s actions, including signing the odious Patriot Act and leading us into a disastrous war, was accused of giving “aid and comfort” to our enemies. What Ginni Thomas did here was akin to paying for the plane tickets for the 9/11 hijackers. How is this not “aiding and abetting” the attempt to violently overthrow our government?

Let me restate this because this was the thought that inspired this diary: Ginni Thomas sponsored (possibly meaning paid for) 80 busloads of “protestors” to the Capital on Wednesday, equaling or greater than approximately 2,000 people, any of which could have been involved in breaching the Capitol Building and attempting the seditious overthrow of our duly elected government. It is as if she had paid for the plane tickets of the 9/11 hijackers.

Even, and ESPECIALLY, the most powerful need to be HELD TO ACCOUNT FOR THEIR CRIMES.

They should offer $ rewards for people to turn in anyone who was a part of this. We know by now these people went home and are very proud of themselves.
